Q:

Gun rotation & rambling on.

Just got back from a little mini vacation in New Mexico, Did not take any PCP guns,
35 days ago I shot the 22 cricket for seven days, then the 25 cricket for seven days , then the 22 shorty mutant for seven days , and then the 25 veteran shorty for seven days , when I got back I Pulled the 22 cricket out still sitting on 200 bar like I left it , So smooth I did not no if I was loading pellets,
Two mags and lots of pecans and aspirin’s exploded at 38 and 48 yards, Man I like that gun.
Oh yea almost for got the unlucky four sparrows ,

I leave a pellet out of that chamber when loading mag. That way when I insert mag and close bolt I know there’s not a pellet in the chamber.

That mark on the magazine to show where you are looks good,
I got some glow in the dark paint that you put on open gun sights, I marked my magazine with it.
Does not near as good as yours Zonk, don’t know what I was thinking , I do not shot in the dark anyway, Duh.
And Hoot, the glow in the dark paint does not work on scopes, So just stop thinking about it,

Heres what it looks like afterwards

Using this o-ring gets rid of the two smaller ones and keeps your mags from falling out of your mag holder.

Zonks O ring mod looks like Model N2 50 X 027
2.5mmX27mm Metric Buna -N70 o ring

One of the best mods you can do to the 22 and 25 cricket to keep the magazines in there place.
And the next best is the cocking plate,
Mike

Well, since I more or less started the ramble on the loading issue, I didn’t expect such a ton of feedback, was just rambling :suprisedn: .
I think it’s time to say THANK YOU, guys for all your answers. You’re really a great bunch, keep it up that way!

Didn’t think the solution would be THAT easy as I initially thought the small screw on the lever below the plate (the one which locks non-rotation vs. rotation) would potentially block. At least this isn’t an issue, great to know.

Thanks again, gentlemen!

He da man………….. :8: :8:

Donny just sent you an order for Two Cricket side plates. one for my 22 and one for my 25

Greg I see that, wonder what happened to them? I got rid of photobucket with all the problems I had with them.

There is a site some where on here that tells you how to cut out the side vents on the cricket probe that makes loading the cricket a one handed job, It locks the Cricket probe down while you load the magazine.
Someone on here smarter than me is going to have to find it, I looked every where.
I did it to my 22 and 25 cricket,
Mike

I looked also Mike. I posted pictures of it but who knows where it’s at.

I posted that back a year or so on how to keep your action open.
