Gun Vise for short guns
What gun vise do you guys use? I have a tipton best gun vise and find it challenging to level off a gun especially with these bullpups. trying to keep the gun secure to level a scope. In the market for a new one.

A couple of the reviews mentioned what I took to mean a tensioner coated elastic thing I think in the clamp. Or maybe something else that could be made to work smoothly with a couple large o-rings.
Obviously I don’t have mine YET as I just ordered today.
The most frequent complaint were from people that require step by step proceedures and 15 pages of pictures to assemble one nut and bolt 😳
The price was more than I cared to spend but the thought of a good product that I can personalize by a simple improvement pushed me over the edge. :rofl:
Eelect nice setup. I recently replaced my F1 Chrony with the Pro-Chrony and it works great. You can shoot in the dark with those red lights 🙂
And of course I’ll discard the girly hair twisty in favor of some big o-rings.

Yes the IR lights makes this a great consistent Chronograph. I pretty much use the light setup all the time. That way you know for sure it will read right every time. I have software and printer for it too. Its a nice unit.

Ya made me realize how rickety my old home brew rack is.
I read about 100 reviews before ordering the complete 3 piece setup for $190.
If delrin is the only plastic its all good.

Oh yes lead in the frame should be no problem. All I’ll have to do is dig out one of my pellet traps.
They are to heavy to lift anyway :suprisedn:

Sweet! I just got the vise for free 🙂 Amazon has it for $130 prime. I never apply for an Amazon card even though I see the add every time I check out. So this time they were giving a $40 gift card depending on approval. I got approved and right after that they offered an additional $80 if approved for Amazon visa card. I don’t owe any debt so said what the hell. Got approved again and and made sure there are no card annual fees. Out of the blue, my work gave a $50 card holiday gift card to Amazon today so at the end I walked away with +$40 from this transaction.

I bought the CTK precision i think it was around 185 or so…
it clamps anything. Got it from georgia airguns…. charlie frear.

I have 2 other gun vises and just tired of buying cheap ones that do not meet my needs. I was ready to fork over some $$ for it but luckily it worked out well today. I might end up getting the rear rest later.
