I could’t resist. You made it too difficult to ignore… It’s like a crow that lands on your target and shits on it. Would you be able to resist?

I have never heard of Ikea until I just looked them up. There are not many in the US compared to Wal-Marts. The closet one is 300 miles from me in Chicago.

Wal-Mart screwed up in Europe. Our politically correct labor laws have become real intense here in the US at large companies and everyone tends to hate everyone else. Folks are encouraged to snitch on their coworkers (which I see is illegal in Germany) if they see them doing something wrong and we must be really careful what we say at work or we will be fired.

The closet is 300 miles away? No wonder you haven’t come outta it yet …. ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜‰

After watching H ๐Ÿ˜ฏ ๐Ÿ˜ฏ t’s instructional video and reading OGs post about a “pencil dick” I am wondering if a Combro night have another use? :14:

Seriously, after reviewing this stuff the handheld has a few limitations to consider. It looks like one can pick up an F1 Chrony for under $80 at Walmart ๐Ÿ™‚ .

Has anyone used a MagnetoSpeed?

http://www.magnetospeed.com

I believe it works on the same magnetic principle as the combro. The manufacturer says it wont work on bb and pellet guns but other reviewers have said yes it will and others say it will sometimes.

quote Wingman NZ:

I shoot over it with 1000fps rifles without a problem but it is the muzzle blast from unsuppressed rifles especially .177s can give you error readings. The larger .22 and .25 have never given me an error message yet. a error reading can occur from pellets not breaking the magnetic field as well (not infared), a slight bore alignment adjustment can fix this issue.

I have opposite experience. I have had combro and it does nยดt want to measure cal.22. I have measured HW100 cal.177 without problem but I case of cricket I had many errors during measuring. Now I have chrony M1 and this works well. For indoor use Iยดm using halogen reflector oriented to the cceiling and combro is reading very good.

Guys;

as i asked before already, i want you to give me the best and the last answer please;

in my Chrony manual written that for .22 LR and .22 air rifle shooters should place/put the chrony 3foot away from the muzzle of the rifle โ— โ— ,, is that right????? if yes,,,, why i cannot see anyone did this,,,, all what i can see placed the muzzle end very close to the chrony screen…

i usually placed my chrony 60cm away from my Edgun end muzzle,,,, am i correct or not?? please hep me guys … i really appreciate your advises…

the reason that i want to get the correct and accurate answer is, i want to become to know what is the real power/ velocity of my PCPs,,, to get the correct trajectory from the Hawke ChairGun Pro ….

thanks for your reply…

Hemn

You should put the chrono at the distance you want to measure the speed! Some guns, mostly powder burners ;), have a big muzzle blast that can mess with the reading or even damage the chrono therefore a “safety distance”
BUT whatever you do DON’T shoot the chrono because it will die.

Cheers

Aaaww – the old ” shot my Chrony between the eyes” feat. I don’t have the data interface cable but now i’ll order one. I bought the alignment tool too when i ordered my Combro. Makes the alignment easy. Once aligned it stays at that set untill you re-align for another gun. Easy piecey…

Hoot summed it up pretty good. Not cal specific but you need to zero it between shots by pushing a button.

After trying many different chronys before I decided to stock and retail these units here in NZ.
I have spent hours tuning over the Combro indoors and have not had one bad reading. The manual does suggest a ftlbs limit to use through it but you will find it is not so much the high power rifles, I shoot over it with 1000fps rifles without a problem but it is the muzzle blast from unsuppressed rifles especially .177s can give you error readings. The larger .22 and .25 have never given me an error message yet. a error reading can occur from pellets not breaking the magnetic field as well (not infared), a slight bore alignment adjustment can fix this issue.
These Combros can be used indoors or at night if you want to the dont have photo sensors so they dont need light to operate.
There is a bore alignment tool available for them and you can enter in your pellet weight and it will give you your ftlbs reading also.
You dont need to keep pressing the reset button between shots if you use one of the jumper plugs in the data plug socket. It shorts the two outside terminals in the pug and this causes it to reset on each shot automatically. Just be sure to unplug it when you are done with it as it will drain the batteries if left plugged in. Contact Chris at Combro UK direct for these.
Great unit for air rifles and they are all I use now..

I think “gone are the days” of photo sensor chrono units for airguns .. stupid @#*^ light sensitive #*!@ pieces of worthless crap.. ๐Ÿ˜ก #*!@ tell me “Error” one more time you piece of SH*@ ???
Shot mine full of holes.. ๐Ÿ‘ฟ ;D
