I have an helium tank, charged with 110 bar and I have this numbers.

It´s a wonderful experience to shoot 38.5 grains pellets at 1000fps with only 110bar!!!

This sound really crazy, we can convert our PCP gun to helium gun, replace airgun barrel with powder barrel for high velocity.
it will be nice if we install reg and new bigger shroud to keep the noise down 😆

well how about this.
About 8 months ago we filled up my buddies Condor to 2800 psi with helium. And got roughly about 1600, 1589+- fps with 28 gr Eunjins. 🙂 that is about 160 fpe with a stock Condor. No mods just lighter gas.
Accuracy was out of the window though, the gun recoiled very violently and was insanely loud. What I have thought though from what I have seen would be cool to perhaps use a good .223 barrel like Volquartsen to try some 50 grain ammo. GD was going to make us .223 barrels to try but that never happened.
Other people did experiments with Helium before, I read report from some fella that filled up his Monsoon with it and people were shocked too, you just about double the power on helium vs air. It is a very light gas so that’s why, it is an inert gas. It does not react with anything also so it is safe to use. On many forums these discussions are considered a taboo because of the possibilities it opens up for airguns. Especially for big bore guns.
Helium is a definite step forward though, the only problem with helium the sob tends to leak if you leave your gun for several days charged.
So at this point all we really need is barrels folks that can handle these kind of speeds, because LW airgun barrels can’t. Gabulin don’t worry and fill her up you will be shocked what happens.
FWI…6000 PSI @ 524CF Helium cost is $226.34 and $18.00/mo. tank rental…This is thru Flint Welding Supply, Flint, MI….Hope this helps, Allen.

Juan, with 100 bars of air and 100 bars of helium, I reach 1050 fps wiht the “leonardo slugs”, so, I think with 200 bar of helium I can reach 1400fps. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

Helium’s gonna get real expensive judging by the reports that its fast running out. I think the USA pretty much has the monopoly on it, and there isn’t that much left(relatively)
Well, if you install regulator on this gun, I think the number will look a lot better 😆

That´s true, but you can handle the helium directly for a tank (90 ci paintball tank for example) and your loss is minimal. This test was performed with a standard tank. I have to empty the reservoir to make the tests.

I heard that helium can leak easily though due to the molecules being a lot smaller than nitrogen and the other lesser components( also what gives it the extra power, it can expand to atmosphere a lot quicker than air)
