HELP
My talon ss air tank is “stuck” to the refill adaptor and i cant get it off. Any suggestions?

can you lightly tap on the end as you unscrew the adapter???? use something soft like a lead hammer or block of wood?? be gentle
tack – he has gotten the collar off the bottle, I was just trying to figure out why it was so hard to remove in the first place.
the old tap with the hammer is a good one though, I have used that in the past on other things 😉
Take a hammer and rap around the collar of the adapter in the area of the bottle threads while someone else it trying to unscrew it. Go counterclockwise on the bottle removal.

you should check the adapter to make sure the O ring is still there, perhaps it is missing and the threads locked up from the heat transfer.
to tell you the truth, i really do not know.. 😯
I have had mine get stuck also. Not bad enough that I needed to use tools, but definitely stuck. My AF valve protection cap has also stuck, but again not badenough to need tools. I simply do not tighten it so hard…a little is all that it takes.

So what was the verdict on what the problem was, was it just too tight , did you loose the O ring for the adapter, was it starting to cross thread??? Inquiring minds want to know.
