Q:

Help to tune Matador .25 STD

Today I just ran a string from my STD .matador 25.
shot JSB 25.4. 210 bar to 110 bar.
accuracy is no problem. it’s about 500 pellets through so far.
Spread 15, SD 4.

Can anyone help to improve it? how I can tune it to lower SD to about 2 or 3 and more shot counts.

string like this.

Thank you, Gabe.

It helps. I’ll get brass o-ring as a spare just in case. the gun may need time to break in.

I have about 700 shots through my .25 short R3M. I shoot 25gr jsbs. I have not touched the hst or reg.

R3M Short .25
240 Bar- 900 fps
130 Bar- 890 fps
120 Bar- 875 fps
~4 shots/10 Bar
44 shots/110 bars

Use the info as reference. In my experience with two other Matadors, they shoot better after they break in after a few thousand rounds.

I’ve read here about guys cleaning the reg washer stack and lightly greasing them to decrease ES. Maybe that will work for you.

Oh yeah, make sure the brass transfer port is locked in securely. One of my r3s had a large ES and it was because the brass ring was not sealing. I replaced it with a new one and the ES dropped to below 10fps.

Hope this helps you out friend,

Gabe
