Saw- the .17 HMR Kicks Ass My Friend!

Almost a waste with out a good scope. Mine will print way under 1/4″ at 1oo yds. =Love-it!!! 😀

No! if you don’t want it, sell it to me, please!!please!!!please!!!!

Nice Golden Boy. The 17HMR is a round I’ve been wanting to mess around with. I think they usually run 2500-2800 FPS. The frangible bullets turn little critters into a mess while the more solid ones make such tiny holes they’re good for trappers to preserve fur. The cost of ammo sure beats the .17 Remington for a small caliber round. If you’re not into the .17 I’ll trade you a .22LR for it. 😉

Depending on how well the Henry shoots it, you should love that round.

I have a 23″ barrel for my TC Contender, and it basically 1 holes @ 100yards.

Wear earplugs though, that aint your grand-dads rimfire. 😉

Very nice, Saw… the HMR is a very interesting little round. Very frangible, very flat shooting, and very accurate. A bit affected by wind, but not enough to cause anything other than minute of eyeball on most critters up to 100 yards. Beyond that, wind plays a bigger role.

I love the HMR round. The HM2 is interesting as well, but I dont have one of those.

Just goes to show…Ya never know what will be around the next corner….
That is a varmit killing round right there and one fine looking rifle…
