Q:

Hi from the UK – Just need some Bobcat info

Hi folks,

from what I can see, Edgun seems to be the Bullpup of choice, followed closely by the Cricket…

However, the only dealer I could find in the UK that was importing the Cricket, hasn’t got them yet due to importing license issues…

And the only way I could get an Edgun, was to wire cash to Ed (which costs me with my bank), and sit clicking my fingers for a long while until it made it into the UK…

Sooooo, I opted for an FX Bobcat, ok, it’s ‘ugly’, ‘it’s not a real Bullpup’, I get it, but this is the UK, the gun is sub 12ft lb, so which ever one I got wouldn’t have made that much of a difference, except, if anything goes wrong with it, my firearms dealer is able to get it sorted and isn’t too far away – Unlike Ed or Cricket

I just wanted to know, if any of you have a Bobcat, does it come with the moderator or not?

There’s barely any info on them, even the FX website 🙄

Thank You

FX Air Rifles

I have a .30 bobcat shoots like a lazer beam. i would think the other calibers shoot just as well, plus the other calibers come with a power wheel so they can dial them down to a set speed. they should all come with a shroud.

gun was just not designed to shoot that low.

Actually Ed has set many EdGuns up to shoot 12ft-lbs for the UK and other areas with energy limits and they do just fine…

In fact mine at just under 18ft-lbs gets 150+ shots. I bet you could get another 100 to 150 if turned down to 12ft-lbs. 😉

What we have yet to see on this forum is any Bobcats detuned to 12 ft-lbs…

Ted in Madison has a .22 Bobcat and now considers it his most accurate .22 which is saying something considering how accurate his .22 Edgun is,but it is a full power
version.I wouldn`t get an Edgun if I was planning on shooting it at 12ftlbs. gun was just not designed to shoot that low.regards, mark

My thoughts exactly 😀

Thanks Mark

Hi Sir;

Never can compare Bobcat with EDgun….. :nono: :nono:

If you could to wait and spend some more $ you will get the best PCP bullpup ever made by hand… EDgun Matador R3M…..

you will never ever regret with it….

this is your money at any time,,,, i have seen some guys how wanted to resell Edguns and could to sold it out within few days,,,, in case if you need money or wanted to by the new versions of Edgun or changed your mind to buy another brand….

So, go with edgun and have more efficiency, count shot number, best accuracy, shot to shot consistency, very good regulator, very nice compact Bullpup, and of course very durable ……. you know better than me…

have a nice chance….

Thanks for the reply Hemn…

What’s the Bobcat like? Have you had a go with one?
