What are you guys keeping by your bedside at night and why? I’m thinking that the most popular will be shotguns and/or pistols, but someone always seems to have an AR15 or AK47 for some reason!
I think that there is lot to be said for a simple and humble coach gun. Two barrels and easy to load and shoot with no worrying about is there one in the breech or not – just point and shoot.

I have a Glock 23 in .40 cal or Sig P226 also in .40 cal. Don’t forget to keep a “good” flashlight handy with your gun.

I can see your point, but I have to ask….does masturbation deter criminals from entering your house? I can see where they might leave in a hurry when you grabbed their cranks and started revving up the rpms….interesting thought though.

I love 1911’s but I gave up on them for personal defense. I have yet to find on that won’t jam. Even my Kimber and Wilson Combat would stove pipe every now and then. My Glock 36 (.45) has never failed and it shot straight right from the factory.
