How Accurate Is A Talon SS?

I want to buy a pcp for field target competition, and my choices are narrowed down to an AA S400 or a Talon SS. I was recently told by a dealer that the Talon would be deadly at 10 yards, but would not do very well out to 55 yards. javascript:emoticon(‘:cry:’)
Crying or Very sad The guy at Talon Tunes told me there was no way it would compete with high-end FT guns. Anyway, I’d just like to know from you guys who own one what it will do. In FT comp. it needs to shoot around 1/4″ groups c-t-c at 55 yards. Think it can do it (assuming the shooter can)? Air Force will only state 1″ or better at 50 yards. If not, what about the Condor? Do any of you have both the AA and the Talon SS? Anyone in this area have one I could try? Any photos of targets would help, and any suggestions for other inexpensive guns that would fill this requirement would be appreciated.

They Talon is very accurate at 55 yards but just is not suited for FT.
I own a AA410 and would pick it anytime over the Talon. The AA 400 series is that good.
Buy the AA400 for FT. It even took 3rd place 3 years ago at the FT Nationals.
The Airforce line of guns are killers and are hard to tame down to shooting little metal animal targets in the FT game and the ergonomics just suck for FT.
I own both and so should you. But if FT is your priority get the AA.

I’m going to shoot my talon this year at FT..I have never held any other pcp so I cant comment on them but I can tell you that I feel pretty good shooting my talon..its like everything else..I own a $200 pool cue but i’ll bet my house there are a train load of guys out there that can beat me every game using a broom stick..I won a skeet shoot once using a remington 28 gauge that I have shot so many times the whole gun is just ready to fall apart 😆 . a couple of the guys were shooting 7 & 8k dollar o/u’s..so..to me it aint really the gun its who has ahold of it.. 😉
