How sturdy is the Impact?
If you bang it around will it loose Zero? How prone is it get POI shift? I carry my guns in soft gun bags that sometimes Take a beating and I don’t want to rezero my gun every time I go out.

What’s your opinion on the Huben Pippo? Would you trust it if they got the barrel issue sorted? (If you wanted a semi-auto and didn’t mond the price)
Well probably it was not China but the product…..
Also Iphones are made in China….. (not that I’m an Iphone fanboy but many people say the built quality is good…)
One day we will discover that also some high end barrels are made in China and I wouldn’t be surprised ….
Don’t know what I feel about a PCP made in china. I promised myself I would never buy a certain airgun-related product that was made in china again. I did anyways, and guess what? It was a dissapointment….
i’m hoping the huben guys are gonna bring out the k2, the k1 with all the issues with the barrel sorted – yeah and also with walnut stock and 0.25 option :4:
Is that still a thing? They are rarely talked about and wherever I have looked it always says “out of stock” I don’t think I could get one if I tried
Well I believe some people are looking for innovative designs, therefore FX Impact, Daystate Pulsar, etc are perfectly suitable.
All new airguns (first releases) have minor or major issues and unfortunately sometimes some issues get never definitively solved (design flaws).
For those people looking to innovative airguns, have a look at the Huben K1, looks like a very interesting project.
In no way am I advertising the gun, I just say if you like innovative designs, probably it is worth to have an eye also on that project.

I heard yesterday from a friend who owns a FX Impact, that he has a new leak every 10 minutes or so. So apart from paying $3000 for the gun, I guess he has to pay another $3000 on orings etc. what a waste, and to think I was like thisssss close to shelling out my dough on that POS-pellet-propulsion-device. It certainly has made an IMPACT on many people I know, myself included.
I used to shoot Bobcat and it was fine. But more and more I look at FX Impact, all the adjusters, exposed gaues, delicate links, etc. the more I see ‘technical pellet propelling device’ and not airgun anymore… the *GUN* part is just missing IMHO.
Yup I was referring to them and of course I was being sarcastic since we all know what happens over there when you bring up an issue with FX guns.
I’m sure u mean airgunnation aka fxnation aka AOAnation. I’d dare not talk badly of fx guns there, but I did tell Ted on one of his recent videos. Anyway I did own a FX Bobcat mk1. Very accurate (at first), until parts started rusting and the metalwork started bubbling up…. Ended up giving the gun away literally…. So I would call my experience somewhat first hand….
Well if your name was Ted, and you helped the company sell thousands of guns by using phrases like “this is the most accurate”, surely they would make u a gem of a gun. I’m not that lucky, I don’t have a YouTube channel and I certainly dont have 300 000 plus subscribers following my every word.

Jamal I think you should post this info on AGN. I am sure others would like to know. :biggrinn:
Hi Guys
Would just like to add my 2 cents worth… Here in South Africa, the fx impact sells for around US$ 3000, yes THREE THOUSAND US DOLARS….. Anyway a few months ago I approached the agent/dealer and inquired about one only to be told that they,(FX) are too busy making around 20 000 guns for Saudi Arabia. And that out of the only 4/5 guns that were originally flown in to South Africa, guys had serious problems with the telescopic shroud shattering…. My point is that if they have 20000 guns to make for Saudi, surely the QC is going to go out the window. I guess fx make a gem of a gun hand built and tested by Frederik himself for a select few like Ted (the FX mascot) etc. and the rest of us pay the price for absolute crap quality.
As much as I love airguns and the sport AND love watching teds superb videos of him smacking starlings at long range, I don’t think Mr FX would have ‘hand made’ MY gun. I’d rather stick with my Eddie (and 4 allen wrenches) and I’ll never starve, if u get my drift. Again my :2cents: worth.
Jamal
Lol, yeah
imagine Ted throwing the Impact like Sniperqty did with the Vulcan. I think it would go bang.

Luckily I’m not in business for a new pcp right now otherwise I would be battled….
Honestly that fast shooting semi-auto looks like a lot of fun….
I believe more recent reviews will be available soon.
