Q:

Hummingbird semi or what?

So what the hell, is anybody going to confirm or deny that it’s a semi-auto?

They say it’s a semi-auto, but has anybody actually seen this thing fired in semi-auto?
I need PROOF!

It’s NOT a semiauto, they just tell you that and the all world at the Shot Show, but when you go buy it it’s single shot, it’s just a big lie ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

If I would buy a Colibri I definatly would need to find a way to put a wood sleeve over at least the back half of the air reservoir, maybe even fashion it with some kind on an angled foregrip,…it would be a fun project ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m hoping they offer it in both manual and semi-auto advance magazines.

At 29″ it has a 19″ barrel and I would assume it is a LOT quieter in .25 caliber. At 24″ it may not be offered in .25 caliber, or if it is, it would likely be 12-14″ in length.

If it Puts the lead downrange like the cricket its gonna be hard to resist. i like the fact that its got the bolt on the forward left side. Im sure once they get circulating, ernest or someone else will be cutting them down to size. as long as they can keep the power where it needs to be. shit id be happy with a shorty .25 that gets 30 shots. only time will tell

Peter spoke to Dimitry the inventor at length about the Bird and there is only the longer version now. ๐Ÿ™ Est. $1600 US. There will be a synthetic stock version (probably heavy).

There must be a long and short version for these because there’s no way these are the same size

Did you see the mechanics inside – holy cow it’s complicated. That worries me a bit. ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

I wasnยดt impressed by its looks either , at first , but it has grown on me and the new one looks really good IMO.

That’s why i need you to test it first .. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I really wanted this when I first saw it last year but at 29″ I’ll pass.

Their website lists the .177 and .22 as 620mm – 24.4″ so I’m thinking maybe the .25 is 29″

Which would make sense to me being that at 24″ they barrel would have to be REALLY short for the .25 and to keep FPS up would need to be a real air hog

That seems more reasonable and puts it back in the running.

It’s bigger than the Standard Cricket which is 27″. The Compact Cricket is 24.5″.

I think the Hummingbird is a bit of a bust at 29″. Maybe they will have a Compact version.

WTH happen to their size. The proto type was so much smaller. At 29″ this is bigger then the compact Cricket.
