I am afraid you underestimate EDgun Veles :)
Here is my working tool, which lives in my car for more then 2 years already, it survived when it was minus 38 degrees Centigrade and now when it is plus 35 degrees Centigrade (100F). It is ordinary Veles, which throughs 7.5 grain, .177 caliber pellets with 220 m/sec (725 f/sec) to the targets. My longest resulted shot was seagull at 71 meters (77 yards), head shot, clean. I use red dot scope Falke-1 very light weight and I wouldn’t say very cute but I am used to it and there is no problem to aim and kill a crow up to 50 meters, besides it is much easier to aim crow then egg or tangerine 🙂 Really nice pistol for small game like the back yard hunting 🙂

Having bought at Ed Matador-standart – 0.22 and having done some shooting from it much, has decided to buy same, but a lung, same exact as Matador.
The calibre wanted same as Matador 0.22 (I do not want to be confused to supplies). Has written Ed and after a while has received Veles-standart 0.22. It on a photo.

At us in Russia any hobby has the creative approach, therefore owners bring the improvements in serial products. It allows to make characteristics of the weapon better, than the manufacturer to make better appearance and convenience of shooting.

I though I have read it somewhere about the short Veles, it was made exactly like the standard version, but just a little bit shorter.
I just visited edgun’s website, it does not seems to have integrated moderator, my bad guys.

All Veles has integrated moderator already, the additional moderator can be purchase through Tony, it will make the gun even quieter and few Veles owner reported it help with accuracy.

I wish you had a built-in shroud on the Veles. Some of us like/need the stealth. IMO you would sell more of them if they had a built-in shroud. With the 245mm (extra 2″) barrel it would be simply irresistible. But you’ll be competing with the new Crosman .22 that will sell for less than 1/2 as much and has a built-in shroud.

I still do not believe that .25 can be accurate, but if you find it such I am glad but will never guarantee it, you, guys, who buy .25 caliber Matador do it on your own risk 🙂
As for new JSB, they are on the way to test some, new equipment is to be ordered.

with much soul can do amazing things if the hands are willing to work..
Here is target at 73 & 91 meters with wind. Accuracy is no for winning
target competition but, is very good for the crows…lol

This one was a sparrow taken at 52 yards with the Veles .177, just in case anyone would doubt the accuracy….
This one is just the size of an egg, but i use a scope on it unlike Ed who uses the dot.
Forgive the Video…clarity…best I could do…..
As soon as the target was dropped a crow flew with it……so I dont have the latter of the video….
