Q:

I hate you guys!

With all this shorty love lately I couldn’t fight the urge anymore and ordered a .22 Veteran Shorty…thanks for making spend even more money. Now I gotta go get my other guns ready to sell as I know between my .25 Standard and .22 Shorty I won’t be shooting anything else.

I think your next Bill

KyPop honestly for me it’s the extreme compactness of it. I had a. 22 Mutant Standard a year ago and sold it off when I heard the .25 were being made. Little did I know how long that was gonna be so I tried a bunch of other guns during the time and everything I would compare to the Mutant. The Veteran finally came out and I freaking love it! Perfect .25 gun and my favorite I’ve owned yet.

I need a small gun for carrying in the field (literally) to shoot ground squirrels in our corn fields as they eat the seed and mess up stuff with there holes. I have a Prod I just built and it’s a great gun but still not near as good as my Taipans. So being me can’t help myself I wanted a .22 Veteran and opted for the Shorty to try it out. My plan is to turn the power down to Prod levels (16fpe~) and use it for 10-50yd shots and the .25 I have turned up to 45fpe and will use that for longer shots when I’m resting on a bipod and such. Also a sub 24″ gun just sounds awesome lol my .25 with SUMO is 35″ which is the shortest gun I own so this will be crazy compact.

I’ve seen tons of shorty love on this forum for months now and since I don’t have one I’m not sure why. I have a standard .22 and .25. Is it the weight, look, length, power or other factors that make the shorty so desirable? Please don’t be too convincing because I can’t afford another one.

C’mon Taipan. Time for a pistol release…

   Somehow I saw something like this coming! I do agree with you, though!
