i have 3 edgun matador ??????

when speaking of accurate air gun barrels one can not exclude BSA barrels, I believe they too are hammer forged. But do think, from discussions, that the older BSA barrels are better than present but I don’t know this for sure.

CZ does make a great hammer forged barrel and has for years.

I have both an EdGun and a Cricket, so far I have to give the accuracy edge to the EdGun… Each one has it’s good things and bad things, I hope to get the Cricket on par with the EdGun, not sure how i’ll get it done but it’s on the list of things to do before the next field target season arrives.

i really don’t have any personal relationship with this guy other than by emails ,,,, and he is only my country neighbor…. but i should mention exactly what he told me…

Yesterday night i have spoken to Mr. Yaaqoob (SQ) through facebook chat… he told me these (i am sure most of you knows this);

SQ has a problem with the Kuwait dealer for Edgun only, when his Matador bolt assembly has broken and he claimed for the replacement ,,,, then he didn’t get anything ,,,, from this point the fight is started… so as SQ told me by himself, that he likes Eduard and he respects him so much, he said i don’t have any issue with him, ….he told me that first i have uploaded some vids to Eduard to submit my complaints against Azeez….

Azeez also sells Cricket as W NZ noticed that, i believe this is another issue… (my opinion)

the only problem is between both of them (SQ and Azeez) not Eduard, he told to me that first i loved Edguns very much,

but when my matador bolt has broken and asked Azeez to get me the replace and he didn’t provide me anything then he ……

he said if i hated Matador how can i buy 3 stocks… ??

So, i got some messages from SQ (Yaaqoob) to Eduard i will send an email again to him and i will write what exactly SQ told me… i will help them all and let see till when i can reach?!

i like to help people …… only …. no one of them will owe me a penny….

I own both and think my Cricket can easily give my Matador a run for its money on accuracy. I actually give the edge to the Cricket. Twenty years ago I would have never put a hammer forged barrel against a cut barrel but the processes have improved so much it has become a toss-up. Let the games begin. 😎

The reason he fell out with his Edgun agent is because he wanted the sole rights to sell them himself because he believed the agent to be doing a bad job… Now he has Kalibrgun and is pissed because the Edgun agent is also selling Crickets in competition with him. His beef is with the agent, not Ed or any of us..
I have tried pro actively to get this thread on track and away from the shit slinging.

I have set him a challenge to prove his claim that Crickets are “the best” and Edgun’s are “junk and hard to work on” (his words not mine)
The challenge is to shoot the .22 Cricket at 930-950fps with 18.13gr pellets at balloons to the same ranges Ed shot with the Matador .22 230m 250m and 275m with the same or better results than Ed got.
I open this challenge up to anyone with a .22 std Cricket as Id love to know if it is up to the challenge..
