I noticed the oath requires you not modify the gun or its operation. But, BBB specializes in modifying these guns and apparently does so with DAQ’s implicit support. Is a BBB mod an authorized but unwritten exception to the oath?
Well done Yellow!!
Want to know all about it you know!
Walter….
I like Corcoran wood. Always nice.
Well, the problem is that Dennis no longer makes the Outlaw pistol, so all the ones out there have at least doubled there original asking price from Dennis. I paid $850 + another $325 I think for the stock. I sent the pistol to Steve Corcoran and he had it for something like 2 months while he made the custom stock for it. It was worth it. It’s VERY accurate and will blow a hole clean through a 2×4 at 35 yards. Probably farther, but I haven’t tried. He also made them in .25, 9mm and .45. Here is a link to his site that has more info on them.

What does something like that run?
An absolutely beautiful gun!!
I haven’t been able to get on the list for a new one, but I do have my trusty DAQ Outlaw .308 with the 1 off custom stock I had Steve Corcoran make for it.

Covers his ass if an idiot blows themself up or somethin’. Good idea IMO. I’d probably do it too.
That’s kind of cool, I see nothing wrong with that, Thanks
Not yet, hopefully before this weekend.
Oath…

dammm, lucky bastard 😡
air tight did you get yours yet?
…. and what’s this ownership oath, something like thou shall not spank on it….. 😯
no but seriously what is it?
what dose that mean in terms of waiting time?
About two weeks, if he gets is ass to the PO with the oath. 🙂
what dose that mean in terms of waiting time?
He gets check, mails me ownership oath, I sign that and send it back and when he receives it he ships the Gun.
3 trips via USPS and 1 trip of UPS so I’m hoping 2 or 3 weeks.
Sweet Yellow. I’m hoping the .458 will be here by Friday. I was 90% sure it would arrive today, it was a long day!
That is great! Lucky guy.

I guess so! I figure when another professional modifies the guns operation the legal liability would change.
