Q:

I see on the Yellow that parts for English made air guns may

become unavailable.

It appears the Royale mail is proposing banning the shipment of Airguns and their parts. According to the post on the Yellow, it appears the Royale Mail feels they are breaking an existing law.

The post says that the Royale Mail is the only source for shipping available, is this true?

The author, T.W. Chambers and Co., says it could put them out of business.

So no more parts, magazines or air guns to US soil from AA Daystate et. al.

Sad state of affairs.

I think it is actually Kentucky Salvage isn’t it?

And whre do they get their rifles and parts?

RC

theobens would be ok, there is theoben USA in Tennessee I think?

But quite a few guns would be cut off, along with people like jb.

Does UPS and FEDEX not operate in the UK? I find it hard to believe the royal mail is the ONLY source of shipping. Either way I’m glad I don’t have an English gun.

Well if this is indeed true, that the English sky is falling, it will not matter which side of the Atlantic your on, it will severely impact anyone here owning a Daystate, BSA, AA and I believe a Theoben.

I always wanted one of the little Daystate Huntsman XL’s but unless a cottage industry springs up that is making parts, like they do for the Rapids, I will stick with the FX’s, XP’s and Haley’s.

Glad we showed our feelings in 1776. Freedom isn’t free.
