Q:

I’ve gone over to the other side.! first post

Hello everyone, been reading all the valuable information and decided to go over to the dark side, just ordered a condor should be here in 2-3 days.
I have RWS M 6g,M48,M34 and Sheridan pump bought in the late 70’s & sheridan co2 rifle. All rest are powder burners.
Never shot a PCP so this should be interesting ,need to find a scba tank, have located several local.

1.First question ,I have found a OMS Steel 125 SCUBA tank looks bran new ,born date 1997, last tested in 2003 for 200$(but it has a DIN valve),and it needs hydro test. is this a good deal.,found place to do the test for 50$,
They said they can charge to 3500 ,havent found anyplace yet to charge to 4500 in case i find a high pressure tank.

2.Will the DIN valve work with the air force adapter
3.Have found new hydo 80 steel tank for 125$

So do i need to keep lookin or get one of these.
Thank ‘s in advance

Mac-1 has been having some good prices on carbon fiber tanks.
310-327-3581 Only if you can get it filled somewhere though. They fill to 4500 at the fire station for me.

I’m lookin thank’s guys

I don’t know about Texas, but in Florida, such a tank (used) is around 100 bucks. Welcome!

First find a place that will fill to 4500 psi (there was a thread in the Yellow Forum about 4500 psi fill places in the US) then buy a Carbon Fiber SCBA tank (the ones used by fire fighters). That’s your best bet.

By the way, Welcome to the Mad-House!!!

test

Can you charge a steel scuba tank to 3500-4500 psi?? 😯 😕
