Importing Cricket into the UK because my FX Bobcat was SHIT!
Hi folks,
Apart from Alex in Cyprus, and Websales in Finland, does anyone know of any other company that will ship me a Cricket into the UK in a speedy manor?
There’s gunsworld in Cyprus, but they’re not mentioned as an ‘official’ dealer on the Kalibrgun website, so not sure if they’re any good
Sold my FX Bobcat and now I’m airgunless 🙄

I dont think anyone is going to apologize any time soon because they think their shit do not stink. Besides, if this shit it the Yellow, it is going to get deleted anyway.
I am guilty of owning 2 FX rifles. I dont want to go into details But lets just say that kURT discovered the same issues I had with mine. I was going to let FX redeem themselves by buying an FX Bobcat 2nd generation but I have 2nd thoughts.
Just for fun, Maybe my next rifle will be a Steyr Hunting 5 in semi auto .22. AZ tuned of course.

Sounds like they are fuxing it good..
And the fact that the Bobcat and Indy aren’t even on their website yet should set alarm bells ringing, maybe it’s because they’re not finished…
I’ve managed to put a couple of people off the Bobcat so far, so at least they haven’t wasted £1210…

I think what you are doing now is the same as what Hemn was doing to you a few months ago. The only difference is that you actually bought and owned it and did not liked like. it is all cool though.
Sometimes you can go through life making your own mistake and learn from it or you can learn from other peoples’ mistake that wont cost you anything.

You in the UK. There are SO many great airguns in the UK. The Daystate, AA, Theoben Rapid or BT Rapid., to name a few. Why would you go with FX or any other brand? Unless you like the Bullpup design. You really cant go wrong with the Cricket or the Matador in this case.
If I live in the UK, I would not mind owning any of the models that are tuned by Ben Taylor. I am sure you have heard of him. I currently own one of Ben Taylors’ creation, the BT500. It is a .22 Theoben Rapid and it is a pleasure to shoot. I would not mind to own a few more in .25 caliber but he no longer imports the Rapids to the US. I think you can still find them in the UK.
OK, I am no expert in airguns, it is just an opinion.

I wasn’t letting mine go for anything less then i paid for it. so if i didn’t get it i was holding onto it.

yup went through it with mine too. also they shimmed the trigger rail with a washer to make it fit, it would tweak the rail when snugged down. Not right I sent mine back cause of the mis alignment. came back a little better but it wasn’t right. I called them back and was told it is what it was. and that the new stocks were all for new guns and i would have to pay full price so I ended up fixing it myself (centering the Gauge) and then i sold it….
The gun shot unbelievable and i actually do regret selling it . but i was all steamed up about the stock issue and the biggest concern was how the stock was so flimsy and loose in the front.
Loose stock…
The issue with the first Bobcat, was that the stock was made for the Indy, not the Bobcat.
Therefore, the stock was loose at the front, and the pressure gauge was not seated correctly in the stock…
