Q:

INCOMING, Matador in Transit!!!

It’s on the way!

Should be here next week. Can’t wait to put it through some tests and modifications.

It’s a 177 so it will be fairly rare in the USA. Hoping it is set to shoot JSB 10.34 grain Exacts at around 900fps.

If not i’ll certainly be posting a few questions regarding adjusting the regulator and stuff.

I’ll be shooting silhouettes (off hand) and hopefully some field target too. If all goes well i’d like to shoot it at one of the bigger AAFTA sanctioned FT matches (nationals, state or regional championships). I think it will be a real advantage for the forced off hand lanes.

Once again looking forward to owing a brilliant piece of engineering from Ed. Thanks for your hard work Ed and thanks to Tony as well for putting up with us. 😉

That actually looks pretty good on a bullpup design. It kind of complements the trigger guard too. Where did you get it? Is there an adapter for swivel bipods then?

+1

Yep I actually got one by luck…they were mostly sold out but the store happen to have just one left….I got the rail…bipod adaptor and scope level at bass pro.

You can bearly notice I have a rail under my Harris…

😆 That is funny. Sounds like a great gig.

I have worked from home at least three days a week for 14 years and full time for 8 years. The hardest part has been the guilt and actually taking my vacation days. It’s crazy but I goof off a lot, watch TV while I work, shoot airguns, built many R/C helicopters and planes, a home built real airplane, put in a hard wood floor, and on and on… but at work they told me a few reviews ago I was used as the standard for productivity and they only care about getting the job done. 😛 Productivity is really low in corporate offices. Oh they are really busy and working OT but nothing gets done or done right and the politics are overwhelming. I am a Sr Application Architect in IT for a large corporation (like the white haired guy in the movie The Matrix). Now I am trying to figure out how to get layed off in about a year (right after my next bonus payout 1st week in March) so I get my year of severance and retire at 56. 😀 My daughter just got a merit scholarship for her last two years in college and made it viable. :18:

I need to assemble a good inventory of fun stuff before then. The wife will continue working since she likes her big job. 🙂 I simple talk about full size airplanes and UTVs when I contemplate another much smaller airgun purchase. When I mentioned the Edgun to her I told her I needed a loan from her and I said I needed twenty something. She said twenty thousand? – LOL. She was relieved when it was only $2k. She still remembers when I asked for that airplane kit.

I guess I have wandered off of the thread theme a bit. 😆

I just got notified a while ago my Hawke will arrive on Monday UPS as well (on the same truck I think). I have the rings, a probe adapter, tons of JSB Kings and unlimited air. I should be set. I still have to order a scope level and flip-up scope covers, and pick up a swivel stud for the forearm but at least I can set things up. I thought about a rail but they are so large looking on the walnut stocks. What do you think?

😆

I am lucky enough to be working from a home office. It is a blessing and a curse. Lots of things to distract me from the job.

Back in 2000 I helped prototype the Apple store in Cupertino. We build a whole store INSIDE a warehouse, and I mean the sidewalk and storefront, the store, ceiling etc. We were ONLY allowed to work the display installations on Saturday and Sundays, which was cool because it meant the pay rate was $90/hr. We did two 12 hour days with the travel time included.

I knew I had a cash overflow issue when I went to take my laundry out of the washer and there were nine $100 bills sitting on top of the clean clothes that I didn’t even realize I was missing… 😯 😕

I was going to buy 100 shares of Apple stock at the time, it was $12. Had I held onto it until recently i’d be buying everyone EdGuns right now. 🙁

Nice. My son just got a Glock 19 in 9mm and he also got his permit. The wife again is looking my 14 pistols over like its her personal store. I think she is “taking” the little Ruger LCP w laser 380 but she hasnt decided yet. I don’t really shoot it. The best thing I did, though, was to get 3-4 cases of ammo for each new caliber as I bought the guns. I used to think $9 for 50 9mm fmjs was a lot.

I actually need to just fill out my paperwork at the local pd station and sit back and wait for my conceal carry permit…I have a glock 22 40cal I’ve need dying to wear on my hip

Well I know I’m overpaid but I don’t have the luxury of working from home…I actually doing overtime right now backing in over $100 and hour right now…and I’m just sitting here. But I’m getting 3 hours of overtime and that’s going towards my scope…I just told my wife and she said ok as long as it doesn’t come out of my regular check.

I don’t even get OT. They tell me its in my base and bonus. (Yea right). My wife claims some of my bonus and she is a manager at a big corp. Its not fair. They hold all of the cards. She just got her conceal carry permit so I watch myself and let the cats taste dinner first. 🙂

Well my wife shot down my getting a UTV traded for our two ATVs and she wants this $1000 ring which I think is a complete waste of course so there is lots of behind the scenes wheeling and dealing going on. She’d already said she preferred $5000 in new “bb guns and scopes” as she puts it to $15000 for a new utv. She knows I shoot nearly every day (I work full time from home). I am also overpaid. 🙂

Damn coda your bleeding money…I just got shot down by the wife because I wanted to buy a hawke scope….she said I already spend $2000 on a gun what more do I need???….so I rather not push the issue…lol

😉

I believe you… I know it 🙂

Tony got my check and mine ships tomorrow…. I hope it don’t beat yours to my house. 😈

Got my tracking number from Tony and have a Monday delivery for the Matador. I ordered another Hawke 8-32×56 SR Pro Sidewinder and found one for $436 shipped (actually they are drop shipped from Hawke). :thumb:

We want a picture of Tony too. 😛
