Installing a Weaver rail on underside of Standard Cricket Ta
Hello from wet and grey Scotland
I am new to this particular forum as I have only recently ordered my cricket based on my friends advice.
I have ordered all my equipment, however I have seen pictures on here of 11cm Weaver rails mounted on the underside of the stock.
I have ordered one from Germany for 9 pounds UK, which seems OK.
How should I attach this rail to the stock? The bolts which come with it look like fairly short wood screws.
Many thanks and should I buy the fake bipod mount from China that has had good reviews on here?

OK. I have ordered Atlas bipod! I am now getting a bit worried that the Magpul MOE PTS 9 Slot polymer Rail I have ordered is not strong enough to take the bipod and single point sling! Any thoughts or recommendations.?

Either way, the syn stock will carry the load.
Bi-pod…The Atlas has about six adjustments to make before you can shoot. The dang thing adjusts angles forward, backwards, pans, swivels, locks up down and sideways, plus you can adjust for 1,000 different heights! Just get the $30 USD Harris clones. You just snap them down, and lock the legs at what height you want.
Save your money and spend it on whisky and loose women.

If you get it centered from the beginning there’s no reason to drill bigger than 5mm

The Cricket synthetic stock is very easy to drill. Just don’t try and bore full size on the first go. 😉

Ordered myself some black m5 20mm bolts, nylon locking nuts and some washers. Sound good for the job?
Any tips on good practice on drilling into synthetic stocks? 5.5mm bore? Thanks for the help gents
