How much does something like that cost to get made?

Yeah, the beaver was engaged. Actually, it was done by a professional beaver here in Poland. Looks like a piece of art. The wood is african Sapele. The weight is really low. Like a foam.

^Did you make that or did a beaver help you out? It actually looks really good. Lots of detailed routing.

Speaking about custom stocks, here it is:

I got one doesn’t fit my .25 Cricker he wants me to post it back to Spain 3 lots of postage Spain-UK Uk-Spain Spain-UK who wants to bet it’ll get lost in the post this has been a bad deal

Sorry Mr. Baz.
I remember that I was wrong; and I sent you a stock for cal.22

I gave FOUR OPTIONS (I keep the emails) (and the center of PayPal as well):
1º Send a gift to you for the mistake. (The error is simply that the “aluminum eight” some Cricket 25, are wider and you could fix it easily.)
2º Make a discount. But you asked me 50% discount. I think that EXAGGERATED
3º Send new stock. And you send me the old stock.
4º You Return me the stock; and I return you the money.

You didn’t choose any option. And PayPal decided.

Your product looks great and I think many will come to you for one that fits a Taipan Mutant since the action is similar to that of a Cricket. My question from the above is, knowing that you sent him the wrong stock, did you offer to pay for return shipping? If you didn’t, I can see why a buyer in his situation could get upset. Shipping from Spain to the states is what, $30-50?

6th one down with the green case is mine! 😎 Rapid shipped out quickly and the price was more than fair. All fit perfectly and I like this stock worlds better than the synthetic I had on it.

I like that the butt pad is lower than the stock cricket stock which I think is too straight.

Dave

Rapid, they do look very nice.

Several kits of various customers.

My custom rapid-70 stock arrived yesterday from Spain just about a month after my initial payment was made via PayPal. It came in a small package and was packed nicely. My initial thoughts were WOW nice stock. Professional quality work. And honestly my initial thoughts have stayed with me. The only issue I had was the screw hole to secure the stock to the action was off by a centa-hair. However I managed to easily secure the action without making any modifications to the stock. In my opinion the gun looks far nicer wearing the rapid stock as opposed to the synthetic one. It is lighter and just as well balanced as my Cricket stock. It feels real good butted up against my shoulder free hand. I have not shot it yet however I am impressed. This was a good purchase. Javier was pretty easy to work with. I know some other folks have had some issues with the stock. But this was not my experience with my brand new Standard Cricket in .22. My Cricket came with two screw that secured it to the stock however Javiers stock has only one. My action feels very secure in this stock.

Glad you like my work.

I like the lighter weight, I hate losing my magazine holders, The wood looks very nice , but I like the synthetic stock, It seems to be tougher, scratches and all, And I like all black in my guns,
I find it strange that the wood can be lighter than the synthetic, But then again if you made a synthetic stock like the lighter wood stock with the magazine holders cut out I an sure it would be a lot lighter,,, Its not plastic, its something else, I could be Wrong? Where do you carry your extra magazines? In your pocket?
I know, I know , You can’t please everybody,,, But I would just like to know?

I never even thought of using the mag holders on the stock. To me it’s just extra weight.

Yeah, the mag holders were the first thing I dumped on my cricket. The synthetic stock plus the mag holder was just too much baggage.

Sure like the looks of the Rapid-70 stock…nice

The 4 oz. pepper shaker I use to carry all 6 mags to go to the farm http://www.amazon.com/Morton-McCormick-Iodized-Salt-Pepper/dp/B008VSYZL8/ref=sr_1_fkmr1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1430715838&sr=8-3-fkmr1&keywords=Morton%27s+Salt%2FMcCormick+Pepper+Double+Pack
I used the white sponge from the pellet tins and cutout to pads for the cap and bottom of the shaker.
It can be cut to what ever amount of mag you what it to hold up to 6 mags max.
