My custom rapid-70 stock arrived yesterday from Spain just about a month after my initial payment was made via PayPal. It came in a small package and was packed nicely. My initial thoughts were WOW nice stock. Professional quality work. And honestly my initial thoughts have stayed with me. The only issue I had was the screw hole to secure the stock to the action was off by a centa-hair. However I managed to easily secure the action without making any modifications to the stock. In my opinion the gun looks far nicer wearing the rapid stock as opposed to the synthetic one. It is lighter and just as well balanced as my Cricket stock. It feels real good butted up against my shoulder free hand. I have not shot it yet however I am impressed. This was a good purchase. Javier was pretty easy to work with. I know some other folks have had some issues with the stock. But this was not my experience with my brand new Standard Cricket in .22. My Cricket came with two screw that secured it to the stock however Javiers stock has only one. My action feels very secure in this stock.

He’s not if you email him. He needs to know your address so he can calculate and add shipping cost from Spain.

I placed an order yesterday with rapid-70 for a Standard .22 Cricket stock. Javier asked for 1/2 the price of the stock up front before starting. He said it takes about 6 to 8 days to ship after payment depending on how much work he has.

No, only in steamed beech.
The wood that I use is “european steamed beech”. With treatment: anti-moisture, anti-woodworm, anti-moth…
It is an excellent wood. Tough, strong, light…

I like the lighter weight, I hate losing my magazine holders, The wood looks very nice , but I like the synthetic stock, It seems to be tougher, scratches and all, And I like all black in my guns,
I find it strange that the wood can be lighter than the synthetic, But then again if you made a synthetic stock like the lighter wood stock with the magazine holders cut out I an sure it would be a lot lighter,,, Its not plastic, its something else, I could be Wrong? Where do you carry your extra magazines? In your pocket?
