Q:

Kalibrgun contact on Hummingbird indexing issue!!!

This is worth a thread of it’s own…

quote sniperlabyo:

Steve from WWAG and I have been in contact with Edita @ KalibrGun and his Technicians are very interested and requested more details and video on the spring mods.

The magnetic magazine advance is unreliable, with an easy fix by installing an EXTENSION SPRING. By doing so the parts on the photo are no longer needed. With this spring mod, it will rotate the mag and advance a pellet every time its cocked, fired or not. It will double load when you improperly de-cock it. lets wait and see what they think and maybe help them with a better FIX.

HOOT , you poor old decripted soul , getting close is only good in the game of pitching Horse Shoes’ , anything beside that is irrational , inconceivable , and
unthinkable to any normal process of thinking. OK , I forgot . The HOOT from TOAD SUCK Arkansas isn’t normal.

You must remember this was an attempt to meet a deadline, after the Hummingbird was introduced as a semi-automatic at the 2014 Shot Show.

Haste is an enemy of effective design. We don’t know how the semi was originally setup for auto indexing. This appeared to be a hasty attempt to convert the gun to multi-shot bolt action. They came close to getting it to work.

I can’t believe this gun has turned out to be like this. You would have thought they could come up with a better way to make this work. Its not like the cricket was born yesterday

Good stuff. They should take notice – this is free R&D right there. 😉
