Seems like the common theme with “most” resellers/importer is “screw you”. No one is willing to take the financial hit to repair or warranty what you paid top dollar for. Given the jacked up prices we Americans pay for the same AG sold worldwide, most importers are just looking to make a quick buck off a hot item. To be honest, I don’t know how it is in the firearm industry for comparison though so it could just be an AG thing. As long as we blindly give away our money, these manufacturers/importers/resellers will gladly take it.
The fixing part should be thru the seller/importer then.
At least for now Evgenys CS is second to none, parts are plentiful and the guy is nice and helpful far beyond the industry standard.
This is true Evgeny has answered every email and provided a step by step problem solving solutions and he does not even speak my language.
However The Keyser brings up some good points the PCP airgunners have to rely on themselves or a tuner to fix most problems. Even though Evgeny is helping me solve this problem a warranty is based on me repairing it or spending money shipping it off the The BP Tuner. Tony who sold me the gun has never had one apart it takes time to learn these guns. I would guest Earnest takes em all apart and has to play with them.
If it wasn’t for folks like Jamie, Hooter, Greg, Zonk, Earnest, Villie and The Keyser I probably would be up shits creek without a paddle looking for Ville and Hoot’s Canoe.

Pip, I got to say I think that lack of customer support is a problem with most of the airgun makers. I have seen treatment of customers that would be unheard of in the firearms market. This is a market where customers have to know the secret knock on a back alley door to get something fixed. It’s total bullshit.

I understand and I wish you best of luck with your Eddie but I think that by now you are aware that the very first time you will need a spare part that is not commonly available you can just forget about it. Don’t hope for any help from the manufacturer… because it’s not in his business model.

I think it’s exactly the contrary, his best selling product (the Matador) is selling slow and he is busy with trying to come out with something new, like a semi-auto for example, to contrast the new players.

I reached the same conclusions as Ville, today I wouldn’t accept an “EdGone” even for free.
There is absolutely no respect or consideration for the customers.
The guns were almost ready to be shipped in February, then were in the process to be shipped begin of July and today (hopefully) in the process to be assembled, how many lies can a “customer” take?

Ed’s explanations ( lies ) are slowly catching up on him. If you tell people one thing today , don’t forget what you said a month ago when you talk to them the next time. Lelyas being assembled now .. 🙂 Or a month ago. Or how was it ?? Idiot !

In many cases that’s sad but also the truth. There are exceptions to the rule though and everyone should take their business to those shops.
