Q:

Length vs Girth

Has anyone experimented with, or have knowledge of, a Moderator design that is quite short but has a large circumference? A Condor with a shroud is way too long for my tastes, so I was wondering whether a similar efficiency could be achieved with a can that is fat and stubby.

its mostly about volume so defiantly doable…you just need enough distance between baffel to let the air stream fan out a bit, and to help maintain backpressure, a series of baffels close together at the end of the mod

buddy of mine in DK used pvc pipe used for raingutters about 4″ diameter, with offset pellet path so it kinda hung on the barrel vs being centred

That does sound like a cool looking setup something like the big .50cal, but sealed off on the sides. Maybe have the barrel bushings drilled out to help. Tron….wait till Adam see “Length vs Girth” he will come up with somthing cool 😆
