is that scope parallaxed at 100yards? will have a massive parallax error at close range. let say 10-15m. I did try to reparallax my marksman but the front objective is glued in.

you can have sharp image but big parallax even at low magnification. Move your head around when you look down the thing for us please.

I cant find any info on this scopes parallax setting but the parallax error is easy to spot on most FFP scopes as the reticle ghosts in and out and almost completely disappears when your head moves too far. When the reticle is clear and dark and you have a good consistent cheek wield your shot will be true.

Those pellet holders around your neck are hard to find. In UK they have them for .177 and .22 and I think I saw One for .25 as well. No international shipping for some reason. But that could be fixed if a uk forum member helps out with shipping.

Hi cricket
Pm.me what you need from the uk,i will be at sir villes palatial residence in sweden ,from ab the 19th october

Hi Steve!

May I ask what sane reason you have to travel to Sweden, and place your health and safety at risk at Sir Ville’s (the Vile) den of debauchery, drunkenness, moto-cross trophies, and pictures of young boys???

I don’t know you, but that doesn’t mean I can’t fear for your safety, and indeed your immortal soul…

If you must go, take condoms, Hanes brand jockey underwear, penicillin salve and tablets, a concealable sharp knife, an emergency supply of a good brand body lubricant, and sandpaper…lots of sandpaper!!!

Don’t ask about the sandpaper…trust me from experience, you will need a LOT of sandpaper. I suggest at least 60 grit. Don’t skimp on cost, get the good stuff.

Have a safe trip (yeah right…) and regardless of what Ville tells you, DO NOT wear colorful lederhosen, or purple headscarves!!! No…I won’t explain, just trust me, for your own sake, trust me!!!

One other thing…don’t drink the water, or any herring oil based beverage that Ville will offer you. If you do, you may later awaken with pain in body parts that really shouldn’t hurt. No…I won’t explain. There are legal consequences if I go into details. You will have to trust me.

I’ve done my best. Even if you don’t take my advice, at least I tried and I can sleep nights after you have gone.

Regards,

Kindly ‘Ol Uncle Hoot:

Sweden, that is the place where the arabs fuck blond cheerleaders?

Yes, unfortunately that is what Sweden has become. It is almost unbelievable that we were once a proud Viking land…

Hoot you know Wingman has an “off ” switch on his camera. Who know what happens after he stops recording :fishing:

The scope at 1x can be used at almost point blank. So some of the really close focus on this scope can be used by adjusting the magnification. I had no problem with focus at 6X from about 15 meters and out.

:hoot:

Thanks Geyser!

I like the small well built low magnification scope for short guns. My first thought is to put this on my Mutant Shorty…any idea what the price is on the Leshiy? Date of arrival?

Just curious…

:hoot:

Mucho Grapefruits Amigro!!!

I am tempted…the quality, size, and power are certainly attractive.

However, how CLOSE can one use the scope without losing image focus? Parallax adjustment is a step I can do without, but sometimes a body needs to shoot within, say 5-10 meters (15-30 feet), and I am left wondering how close a usable image can be maintained in one’s back yard? Were one’s wife prone to adultery, it would be most advantageous to quickly place a brace or two of 18.1gr pellets into the fleeing naked offender’s buttocks at close range (one might consider this “a ‘snatch shot’, in lieu of a ‘snap shot’…given the situation) whilst a 7.62 X 39 at that range could be considered a bit excessive under such circumstances by the local Constable!

Further, I stand dumbfounded that you didn’t blow the guineafowl into eternity…as I understand they are extremely venomous, and prone to swoop down from their lofty perches to attack small children, and feed on household pets…can you explain this oversight!

Respectfully,

Kindly ‘Ol Uncle Hoot:

I will wait until Ed will produce a special scope for the Leshiy …

As per my experience what i tried to reach or achieve better performance..i couldn’t get any better than Ed’s setting… so after years of trying i finally came back to Ed’s setting … so im sure Ed will go for best stuff for his Leshiy… i told you this

Here’s a real quick review for you hooters, a close up look at it/through it and my general thoughts on this little scope.

Nah never had an issue but my pants are not as tight as Hoot: :hoot: red shorts..

:hoot:

Dear Geyser,

Speaking of red pants…how clear is that scope at 6X ??? Crystal clear, sharp image, bright, good light gathering ability?

It’s a neat little scope, considering it’s Chinese mfgr…but I need some imput on it’s performance before I buy.

I have high hopes for the 250mm barrel in the Leshiy, to me the 350mm is too long and too much compromise for compactness v/s minimal velocity gain.

Me too!
But what i like on the 350mm barrel is the bigger shroud volume, for me it cannot be quiet enough.
I have buy all 6 Barrels and will test it and let you know abaut the .177
I hope i get it next week.

How are you guys planning on storing your pellets? When reloading in the field that is. One of these around your neck?

My, scope for the Leshiy is this one:
