DairyB, you’ve got that shit looking sexy. Holy cow, does that Sumo complete the package. Loving the 20moa rail and I never did hate the looks of the stock, especially in black. The only thing (in my eyes) that it’s lacking is a more forward-mounted side cocking lever.
So now it’s a hard decision between the .25 Vet or the .25 Vulc., either in black furniture.
I don’t know the other producers (CZ, BSA, etc) but LW offers different grades.
The “Match grades” usually are very good.
These .25s are LW barrels. Crazy accurate!! The .22s are CZ which are equally accurate
Do you know the brand of the barrel “The Beast” has?
I know each barrel is unique but some brands are better than others, meaning having better chances to get a good one.
I like one hole groups 😀
Also nice to see that Donny”s creations are quality wise on par with the rest of your rig :8:
Correct Bizill I did need to buy the adapter from Talon Tunes. Works great. So im not one to really shoot groups past 50yds but today I shot doves at 80yds with 2 head shots and 1 neck shot no misses. Also shot ground squirrels from 10-130yds. Few misses to get holdover right at the 130 yds but once I figured it out I nailed him! So this gun is VERY accurate!
Dairy, did you need to get the threaded adapter for the Sumo to work on the Veteran? Forgive me, I could search, but don’t wanna.
Here’s my shot string on the Veteran straight out of the box no adjustments yet. Obviously room for improvement as far as reg adjustment but I’m very impressed! 45 shots on the regulator with a 14fps spread which is perfect for my needs. I’m debating bumping the power up to 890fps or once Ernest comes out with his videos how to adjust the reg I’ll bump the reg down to the 860fps area.

Some accuracy testing after adding a new LDC compliments of Donny Du aka DonnyFl. I ordered a 7.75″ long by 1.5″ OD from him. When he shipped it he told me he was going to include a gift. So lo and behold I got the LDC but also he sent me one of his newest kinds called the SUMO! Turns out he said the first person to order one that day would get one of those in there order and I was the lucky one! I LOVE the looks of it on the Veteran!
The other one will be going one my Daystate Regal XL .25 which needs a better LDC BADLY. Anyways back to the SUMO let me tell you what this thing works! And he said it doesn’t have felt in it which he was getting some and would send me it. I’m very impressed with it. Sound is easily same as my .22 was with an LDC on it as well. Plus doesn’t hurt my accuracy whatsoever! 2 5 shot groups at 25yds.
No longer range groups today as I’ve come down with a nasty head cold and sore throat and wind picked up so no shooting for me!
There more I look at it and the more it looks like really high quality!
Definitely a step towards the real thing.
I wouldn’t be ashamed to put the Veteran in the same gun safe together with real rifles.
Waiting for the longer distance groups but with all due respect I don’t know your shooting abilities 😀
Lol patience my friends I should be able to do both 75 and 100 tomorrow morning if the winds are calm. 50yds is all I can do in my backyard.
Sweet, but what’s really interesting is 100y. 75 yards is also interesting. As far as I can tell a .22 is just as good but with less noise and air consumption at 50y (but still fantastic groups)
Congrats for your new toy, looks gorgeous !!! :8:
The perfect tool, bare to the bone simplicity, looks like a drop of water to me.
Personally I would choose the standard size over the shorty even though previously my preferred bullpub has been the Cricket Compact.
And not only does it look gorgeous probably it is also state of the art of pcp engineering.
Any cheap plastic components anywhere?
Please keep us informed on how it performs.
Thanks! I agree simple yet highly refined. I think the Standard size is the perfect size. I think the shorty (not available in .25 at the time) would be too small for me and I’m not a big guy 5’11” 165. No plastic parts everything is top notch!
I stretched it out to 50 yds lastnight 2 5 shot groups. The lower the first the higher the second. First shot lower and right was pulled. Other than that both groups are right around .4″ CTC

Yup all is well with it! Hope to see a few others get one as well!

Would be nice to have a comparison from somebody who owns both, even though for the Veteran probably it’s too early.
The Vulcan has excellent reviews and so has the Mutant and probably the Veteran is even better.
Personally I like the slimmer “Katana” style of the Veteran better.
So basically at the end it is “Katana” vs “Bayonet” and probably it boils down to personal preference.
The lucky ones at the end will own both though 😀
