Looking for more FPS Mutant 22
I think I got one of the first 22 mutants to hit the main land, The sales video was my gun. I bought it second hand, Or third hand.
I got a killer ass stock on it, Its not pretty but fits like a glove,
Its shooting at 710-711-715 FPS with a 220 fill.
I need to get a least 850 FPS out of the gun,
I got Earnest phone number should I call it,
Or do you think I can pull this shin dig off all by myself.
Oh the chrony is set at 30 yards getting the 710 reading,
I shoot the dam things when I get them up close for some dam reason, :rofl:

My Mutant Shorty 22 with CZ barrel installed and reg set to 147 bar.
JSB 18g max @ 820 fps and 16g is doing 860fps at that same setting.

I think the Veteran 22 shoots a little hotter than the Mutant 22 both shorty’s

I bet the 22 standard Veteran is shooting 900 fps and over,
I do not think the shorty 22 can go over 900 FPS ,
Now one of the tuners out there , I am sure can do it with the shorty Veteran, But not sure about the Mutant.
Just watching this for anyone shooting one of these rifles over 900fps and grouping and with what pellet?

You could try shimming the hammer spring. See if that raises the fps.
OOPS, I shoot the 16gr JSB with the 22 Mutant short,
Got way to may irons in the fire, But I am going to do some polishing , See what kind of help I can give the little gun.
I just thought someone might have had the magic spring or the gold screw that would fix all my low power problems.

If I’m doing it right on Chairgun… your speeds equate to about 875FPS where my comparison is with 18.1 gr JSB’s and has the chrony about 1.5 feet from the muzzle.
That’s about the high end I shoot for with 18.1’s. More? … Reg adjustment and maybe a little more plenum space if you haven’t already tried…..

Dman’s swiss cheese pre charge spacer …… it added about 20+ fps without touching the reg IIRC ?
It comes to u with holes … longer and thinner walled compared to the OEM one …….
