Lubing the gun
I’ve watched the intro video and it said to use a little silicone oil on the slide, but beyond that, what parts do I need to maintain? The trigger? Also, has anyone used white lightning(wax based bicycle lube)? Is it appropriate or should I stay away from it.

I use CRC Heavy Silicone Spray…works great for hammer…Di-Electric grease on O-ring, same properties as silicone grease…Allen.
anybody else use any type of silicone grease with polypropylene glycol? that seems to be the only difference, and that has antifreeze properties, may explain the cold weather performance… 😎

u still using that sil glyde…i got a near identical AGS product called connector protctor, most AGS silicone greases are of identical formulation, and frankly divers grease gets too sticky in the cold…
dry lubs work well. I use graphite for the hammer, silicone grease for the orings and trigger parts & frame I use breakfree and let it dry. I also use breakfree for cleaning the barrel.
i actually considered that stuff myself, but trial and error told me if it aint broke, dont fix it. however, i do like a liberal coat of teflon/BN based dry lubricants for any internals not contacting o rings. i have been considering johnsons paste wax as a protectant/rust inhibitor, but silicone has done fine by me up til now… 😉
