LW Barrels
No one answers the phone and only one guy answers the emails. Does anyone else work there? For the last 4-5 months Woody has been telling me about once every week he will get me a quote. When the time comes he doesn’t respond and than starts all over with the bs again in another week.
Can anyone here get him to make some barrels? I told him I’d take as many as I needed to to make a batch.
Are there any other companies to get barrels from for .25 airguns?

if you are willing to spend over $200 for a barrel .You should contact Tony @ Talon Tune ,you can buy them one at a time.
Maybe Woody read this. He got back to me this morning with a number. It’s about twice as much as he thought 4 months ago. If anyone is interested in a 30″ barrel let me know. I am not gonna try to make any money I will divide the price by six ad sell them that way. I think it’s a little more than $200 a piece.
I was going to order six, because Woody said that was the minimum. Hopefully I only need one, and melloroadman wanted one also. The rest I was gonna sell or have Walt cut them down and sell them.

I’ve only got one report on the slugs from a BSA barrel, nothing bad but nothing to write down laws of nature from either. I’ve not heard a bad word about BSA barrels, except that they may not be making them anymore. I hope that was a BS rumor. My understanding is that BSA hammer forges their barrels in the European (since WWII) tradition. That produces a barrel with a uniform taper instead of a distinct choke, better IMHO.
How many barrels do you need?
You got any ideas, I’ve emailed just about any custom shop I can find. I’ll try BSA, is that the same as BSA guns? Do have any idea how your slugs perform in there barrels?

You might send another email or message noting that you’ve been patient but apparently LW does not have time for small scale customers.
I’d assume that LW does not give a shit about your small order and start looking for other vendors. Don’t wait on LW to make it any more clear!
Yeah that’s how too many companies are. I wish he’d just tell me he doesn’t give a shit and isn’t going to do it.
It sucks when one company has the market largely to itself. The product may be great (or may fall off) but there is no hunger to get the market anymore and therefore no need to treat the customer like someone special. This experience would be a good thing to remember when you (and the rest of us) have a choice where LW actually has to compete for our money.
