Q:

March scopes for EDgun ????

Hi all,

I want new scopes, and I’m looking at the March range……

Especially the 3-24×42 which seems light weight but yet with some fantastic reviews…..

Anybody tried those ????

Cheers
Trygve 😀

Not just that, I told my wife she may have to cut down on the $4 Starbucks Lattes for a while to help me out on a scope and she hasn’t spoken to me since. 😮

Yeah right. Now you know why the cats taste test my chow.

Well, I will have purchased three $2k air guns plus scopes in the same year so there is that but she did just buy a new Ford Escape Titanium. I did raise the budget on the scope purchase to an FT scope which is about $1k but I will pay dearly for that. Life is tough.

Do we tell women they can’t buy shoes, make-up, bags and God not knows what else they spend money on that they can’t. Then don’t tell me what I can or cannot buy. Then again, I’m not married either and plan to stay that way. Which reminds me of a very special fairy tale.

Once upon a time, a Prince asked a beautiful Princess….

“Will you marry me?”

The Princess said, “NO!!!”

And the Prince lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and went fishing and hunting and played golf and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up whenever he wanted.

The End.

Kinda brings a tear to your eye. 😀

I only jest about the $4000 scope. :10: I would never reach my next birthday :1:

Your wife went bonkers when you played with the idea of getting a 30 cal bullpup, what’s she going to do when you tell her you’re going to buy a scope the cost of two 30 cal bullpups? 😯 That’s your Christmas/Birthday present for the rest of your life lol…

Focuses to 10 meters. $4200 illuminated. What’s the problem? Only question is what reticle. I might go for the 5-40x for the FML-1 reticle.

I guess the 8-80 would be slightly overkill? 😈

I don’t like any of the reticles on the 80 but if I had to twist my arm – MTR FT.
On the 5-40 I might choose the FMA-2.

Question is: do I really need one for an air rifle! I’ve been toying with this for months.

Trygve,
Thanks for confirming the information for the scope mounts. Also found a good review over at Snipershide forumhttp://forum.snipershide.com/snipers-hide-rifle-scopes/112832-review-march-f-3-24-x-42-ffp.html

Ordered the March 3-24 x 42 FFP today from Kelbly’s Inc. I expect delivery early no sooner than early November. While speaking with them today I learned they had about six in stock but they were all spoken for and all but one of their order due in November were spoken for as well. I was fortunate enough to secure the lone “orphan” for myself! Can’t wait for the delivery…. 😀 😀

From the middle of nowhere in the Norwegian highlands with a bad portable connection: Mine are indeed high QD UTG mounts ! Works just as well as QD Warne mounts at a much lower price….. 😀

I think it actually is. So does the honorable Dr. Evil to whom i sold a pair. He seldom says anything good about anything but i know he likes them. 😉
I don’t need to re-zero my scope when i take it off and put back on. That tells me the mounts are good!

Sir Ville, Thank you once again…..looks like a super mount.

Mike
