More questions on the .25 Matador…
Hi guys…
Currently I own one Matador and I’m the happiest airguner alive. Now that I see that a .25 is coming, I have a few questions for those who have more exprience than me with the brand.
I see that it comes with a very high energy output… Too much for what I want.
I need a 50 FPE for shooting with the JSB kings, not eun jin artillery shells.
Does the .25 has the same platform than the regular matador, where we can tune up-down the power easily?
Anybody know how it shoots with a lighter pellet than the Eun jins? I want the JSBs or maybe the Kodiaks, but that’s as far as I want to go on pellet weight.

Of course I’ll let you know mi impressions on the long one… Once it arives 😕 That’s the hardest part on getting a Matador… te waiting time, but it worths every waiting minute 😉
Luigi, Please let us know how that 22 long Matador does. Inquiring minds want to know. I almost ordered my long version in 22. WTF, you can’t have too many Edguns!
Thanks for all your comments guys, your answers were very helpfull. Until things get cleared, I just asked Tony to get me a long .22 Matador, let’s see how it feels compared to the standart version, and after that maybe I’ll ask for a .25, anyway…. There is not such thing as “Too many Edguns” 😉

Well, I guess you told me! I can’t say I blame you, waiting is a bitch. At least I have my standard to shoot. I’ve got 2 starlings allready tonight.
Having a couple of drinks does’nt sound like a bad Idea. I have to send Tony the rest of my money tonight and the Post Office is right next to my local watering hole.
I got one Starling tonight @ 75yds resting on a chicken Tee Pee….lol

So, it sounds like the .25’s will come to the States in a separate shipment from this latest bunch of .22 Standards, eh?
Yes, It will have a new stlye shroud. Ed says that it is quieter than the standard 22 cal Matador. Ed has some replys about the 25 cal long version in this thread.

I just got a pm from Ed. He is expecting a shipment of the 25 cal barrels in the next couple of weeks. He says that when he gets them, he will assemble the guns and ship them to Tony.
Sounds like if you want one, now is the time to place your order and get on the list.

oldgoat is right and yes we will be able to adjust the power just as the
.22cal… We have also learned that all EDgun models will now be wearing the
stocks seen on the web site…. We will have to wait until they get here to see
how they perform at different speeds with different pellets…. Ed has been
right on so far so only time and testing will tell….
Hi Luis. I was waiting for someone more knowledgeable than I to post. I have a long barreled 25 cal Matador on order and have been keeping up with posts, from both Tony and Ed. Ed says that he had it shooting EunJin 35.8s at 951fps and, I think that Tony has said that it is set to shoot them at 915fps.
Ed has said that he has had the best luck with the EunJins.
I am assuming that the 25 cal long Matador has the same general layout as our 22 cal standards, just longer.
I am going to at least give mine a try with the JSB 25.4s. I have also heard that JSB is coming out with a heavier 25 cal pellet.
I hope to have mine in 3-4 weeks. When they get here, I am sure that Mamcrackin and I will let you know the lowdown.

I have had the long version .22 ordered since 12/13/09. Tony said it will b here sometime in june! I think I am going to drive up and pick it up!!!!
