MRod Air P12 Update thread

Just check my calendar and not so happy :butkick: but it is going to be a lot of fun once my brothers get there p12 and start posting about the gun. No pitchforks for me but I am still very excited about get one by the end of the month. Thank God I don’t have to wait 9 months like wingman did for his Edgun. Thank for the update Mrodair and telling us like it is.

Take it easy, we have good news.

I just received our Air freight BOL yesterday.

I haven’t been posting specifics, as they tend to change, and many do not fully grasp
what alot of this info means as far as when you will actually see them.
(Don’t feel bad, I don’t fully understand it all either)

Also, trying not to muddy up wingmans killer review with posts.

What this air BOL Means is:

The first 20, were booked on a non stop flight, and looks like they have arrived in the USA today 4/9/2014

Before you all start calling and emailing, this will still take a few days to process thru customs.

May be Monday or so, before I actually get my mitts on em.

It will take a day or two, after that for me to inspect them and get them headed out.

I will contact you, as soon as I pick them up at the airport.

(They weren’t actually due until the 11th, so this is a good thing)

If you received your email from me last Friday, you are one of the first 20.

Those who got their emails on Saturday, Sunday, or monday, those orders will be coming by boat.

The bulk of the first order is still set to be here around the 20th (as originally posted) :whistle:

You guys need to understand one thing very clear.

These new P-12 are the latest version, and are a direct result of Phil’s “wingmans” hard work.

Mad props, to the wingman :8:

If it wasn’t for him doing all the hard part, we would still be waiting, or getting the older style
prototypes.

I will be sending both both Phil, “wingman”, and the factory, prototypes and suggestions to make sure we get the best quality product available.
We have ALOT in the works, (much more than posted here, or on the website) and this is just the start of it. This takes quite a bit of time, but alot of these upgrades will be integrated into the factory production models.

We sent Phil, a care package with some prototypes and other goodies yesterday.
He is very busy, so lets let him have some time to play with them and we will all be
Better for it.

This Air freight for the first order, was paid for out of my pocket. (Not even close to cheap) and took alot of time to get set up. This was primarily done to support our customers. (And help me retain my limited sanity)
If you think the stress about waiting on your order for a P-12 is getting to you, just imagine having well north of 100k invested.
I’m not a drinking man, but been thinking about it lately. (Enough rant, just had to get it out of my system)

Now back to our post.

We are ordering the P-12’s, and having them shipped just as fast as they can make em.

The manufacturer, has a lengthy QC process, and it includes shooting these for group size.
(Before you ask, I do not know the specs on group size they require to pass)
But this speaks volumes to me, as to their commitment to the product.

Also, about the help, we do have an opening for someone, who likes to play with P-12’s all day.
(Just not sure if we should pay em, or just give em free JSB’s and access to our cascade system)

Our new corporate entity is great, and provides major funding and support, but for the airgun part,
well that my job.
It beats sweeping the floor (most days) but someone’s gotta do it.

I can’t always tell you guys what you want to hear, but I will try my best to keep you posted, on
what’s really goin on.

And put down them pitch forks fellas, you could put your eye out.

Well, here’s the latest news guys

The very first P-12’s will be on the way, in the next two or three days.

Everyone that has already preordered, will be getting an email from mrodair, with more specific info and updates in the next few days.

We are sending these emails out one at a time, as to not get them sent to your spam folders, so it will take some time.
(Just a day or two)

Just thought I would post a heads up.

When they arrive, we will contact you with more details on how to complete your “wingman special”
and get this party started.
