Yes, why suffer :banghead: with a subpar barrel when (there’s a will, there’s a way superbia extraordinaire) you can retro fit it with an easy 10 minute swap-out Sir ? :11:

There are so many dang things that can cause flyers. I would probably attack the ammo first. inspect, weigh, and sort for actually group checking.

Me, oakey, GKU, and keyser are shooting the taiwanese barrels …
I went through a lot of barrels before finding these.. lol I have a 5 gal pail with about 40 or so barrels in it.
The made in Germany barrels are actualy made be xisico they are korean
I have yet to see an accurate one…. well one that I would put my name behind anyhow… mine shot like a shot gun at 40 yards…
I have a BSA barrel sitting on my bench… I bought with intentions of putting it in my shorty.. but it don’t need it so….
I checked my pellet inventory (over 50,000 lol) and I have a large supply of nearly all .22 JSB pellets on hand and also a few H&N for the P-Rod so hopefully one of them will shoot ok. Looks like most are shooting the 15.9 or 18.1? How about 14.3?

My Mutant Shorty came with the so called German/Korean barrel shooting groups very decently, but mine was a bit pellet batch fussy.
Remained me very much of the 2 P-Rods I returned.
Not sure if or what other are experiencing with the OEM German barrels but the Taiwanese barrels from Listone are extraordinary !!
I can’t imagine the CZ would/could out perform this barrel, equal yah but not out do ……….
Very little breaking-in time compared to my 2 Crickets / CZs.
Accuracy held after some 720 shots before I needed to or stop to think, hey I think it needs to be clean again !
Likes everything JSB’s I’ve feed it so far………….. it’s thee BOMB guys !

Here is a 5 shot group at 50 yards with the 15.89 JSB. Compare my group with the one Charlie sent with this latest shipment

Inconsistent groups like some shooter issue. Not sure what to make of it. Several are ok.

Good groups come from a low extreme spread and a good barrel with a perfect crown. The Mutant has a low extreme spread, actually one of the best I have seen. So all she needs is a good barrel and you’re home free.
