Let me clarify one more thing. The Taiwanese barrels from Listone are fantastic. I would argue they are every bit as good as CZ barrels. You’d all be lucky if Peter outfitted your baby mutant with a Listone barrel

Here is a 5 shot group at 50 yards with the 15.89 JSB. Compare my group with the one Charlie sent with this latest shipment

quote LEE IN VA.:

So, you will get an accurate gun from Petr?

I don’t see any reason why you wouldn’t.

So, you will get an accurate gun from Petr?

Let me clarify a few things…

I am the only one that has supplied anyone with the taiwanese barrels…
The first and second shipment of shortys came a barrel marked made in Germany. They were korean barrels stamped with made in Germany for export/import purposes.

The reason these were used and not cz is due to the fact the manufacture had problems getting the CZ barrels.

So when the barrels dried up and they didn’t have anymore the gun production didn’t stop…..

Guns were sold with out barrels to peter. He is install his barrels or CZ…

This is a temp fix. And the manufacture is already prepping CZ barrels for shipment. So once these are gone new guns will be coming from the factory with CZ barrels

I am researching the Short Mutants like you are after they have had some time (at least six moths) to settle out like I do anymore. There was an issue with the quality of the early Short barrels. Petr ordered guns without barrels on them recently and is waiting for barrels. Acceptable “Short” barrels are a little tough to come by at the moment but demand should eventually solve the supply problem and they are working on the issue. Because of this they are being supplied from multiple vendors (Taiwan, CZ (the country not the company), Germany) so the dealers have become responsible for making sure the guns are very accurate before they ship them. Given the focus on accuracy now I think this is a plus for the new Short Mutant buyers but some early adopters may not have been so lucky but word is that even they are being replaced with better barrels but it may be a while. I have received several big name guns in the past that had bad barrels so it may be a good time to grab one albeit with a bit of a wait.

Guessing on the sale he ended up with a load of barrel-less guns but it sounds like there are a lot more making orders now.
