My Condor finally is a tack driver.. and the magic was…
putting a one piece stock on it. I built one out of black walnut and it fits nice and snug. It’s hole on hole accurate at over 30 yards and still more tests to do but this is a real relief and end to a long search for what my troubles were with the Condor shooting “good” but not as accurate as I knew it should be. I guess frame flex is very real and a real problem with a stock condor. I also have a supersear mod on it which helped immensely. When adjusted right it has a smooth first stage and stops .. then breaks with just a slight touch. Couldn’t ask for more.

Thanks for all the comments on my stock. Since building it I have been thinking of mounting a tri-rail adapter under the power selector area that then gets fit inside the forearm for even more stiffness. I was wondering if anyone has tried to add the tri-rail adapters to this area and/or to the frame area just in front of the raised scope mount area (on top of the power adjuster) to stiffen it up? I know that it doesn’t help when mounted over the breech area.

Yep, I’m one of them. And yes, the WokGuard DOES help with frame flex as it supports the weakest part of the frame wwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than the OEM trigger guard.
AGAIN, i learned late in the game that the AIRFORCE guns are hold sensitive cause when I got mine 7+ years ago, frame flex wasn’t too much of a topic if at all.
Since recently, I read woks post about holding the gun “LIGHTLY” and having mine rebuilt into what it is now, i hold the gun lightly and consistently, the gun is as consistent week in and week out as any of my other small bore well built PCP’s. Design flaws? Sure! I’ll give them that but, the gun can shoot if the right parts are put into it and the gun is held right. AGAIN, IT’S THE “SPRINGER” of the PCP WORLD…..:lol:

WOK or Toney, BTW! Expect AIRFORCE to copy your stock and or trigger guard ideas to some degree since they copy good ideas but don’t give credit to the originator 👿

Just do not squeeze your gun to hard and all will be fine.
Lots of guys are using the WokGard 15 to great success in eliminating frame flex. But if you do squeeze to hard you can force it to flex.

I have guys using the WokGard and nailing their targets at 200 yards with no problem.
The wokguard does the same thing as far as fixing frame flex,right?

I will add one thing , if you put pressure on the tank of the gun one way or the other it will drastically effect accuracy,like pulling the guns in hard on your shoulder and such.
i also had the idea to put a rubber spacer in between the frame and tank on the top and the bottom ,where the tank meets the gun and you would not believe how bad my condor shot like that . and the collar was plenty tight in the frame also.
so yes just cradle the gun like it’s made of balsa wood , off hand or on the bench and it shoots the best.
I have to agree there is no doubt in my mind that the af guns have frame flex. I did not realize it until I shot mine with a full length stock and yes accuracy did improve. I haven’t tested enough yet but, I’m hoping the gun holds poi better from week to week.

I just came in from shooting a couple of groups at 55 yards.
#1, a 3 shot group @55 yards. .25 JSB’s, 21″ Bbl, 2500 fill.=gave a .213″ Group.
#2 was 10 shots in a .532 group. Not bench rest accurate, but not bad at all for an AF platform.
Groups were shot of a bi-pod, sholdered from a old ricketty picnick table. 😆
This Mad Dog full length stock is doing it’s job! Even more so, as I’m not having to re-adjust the sights, (Scope) every other day! 👿

When you understand what causes it, you understand how important it is to just cradle the gun. This is the best technique for shooting and airgun and give the most consistent accuracy for most airguns anyways
If shooters would calm the hell down while shooting the accuracy will improve. So many want to grab and hug their rifle like a gorilla . 🙂

Yup have done that.
Have a trirail adapter, exactly above the power wheel on the dovetail rail.
Dont know if that brought in more accuracy.
I can shoot sub one inch groups with my regulated condor @ 100 yards….
