I think for imagination is better see complete 5 shots group.
Good shooting Jan.
Today I shoot on evening sun again. I shoot from pressure 195bar to 105bar I think there is no POI shifting due to pressure changes but only wind played a role during shooting (or my skills??). There in no only one or two target there is complete shot string 60 shots with good and excellent group but worse group are also presented.
I did not touch any knob on my hawke sidewinder scope.
Tight 50 M groups octavius. These Crickets sure are accurate. Next time put a coin in your posted photo. Helps put things into perspective.

I´m shooting on evening and my shooting desk is situated directly to the sun from west. All the shooting time is cricket on the sun. Maybe… When is no sun POI is on place or minimal move…

I do not know if this information could help you with de-tuning of the cricket cal.177. But try to set regulator to 90bar. It should be still enough for 16J rifle. when I tunned my hw100 I made couple of test with different reg. pressure and 90bar was the best.
For 16 J you can go down to 70-75 B on a .177. We just did my friends .177 for 16 J FT class so at least his Cricket needed only 70 B to achieve that .

Yes that would be the way to go and get the most shot count as well probably 200+ shot I would think.
But just by changing the hammer spring is an easier way just for fun to see.
From a fill to 220 bar I’m getting about 9 mags shots.
Because of the low fpe the gun is very very quiet !

Of course is possible to shoot up to 115bar but I lost the light outside.

That Donny got me started using a weaker hammer spring to detune the FPE, it’s great fun !!
I found a 2″ long one and I’m using it in my Cricket Compact 177 cal.
My reg set to 120 bar valve spring retainer set to 1 turn after contact.
With JSB 8.44g.
With the Imppu HST at 0 turn it doing 650 fps (7.92 foot-pounds)
At 2 turns it’s doing 780 fps (11.4 foot-pounds)
At 5 turns it’s doing 950 fps (16.92 foot-pounds)
With JSB 10.34g.
With the Imppu HST at 0 turns it’s doing 605 fps (8.41 foot-pounds)
At 2 turns it doing 725 fps (12.07 foot-pounds)
At 5 turns it’s doing 890 fps (18.19 foot-pounds)
At 7 turn it’s doing 930 fps (19.86 foot-pounds)
It’s pretty cool I think that I got all this variability with just one spring, from about 8-20 fpe !!!
I think if I removed a coil I could get it down to 6 fpe ?

octavius, if you want to compare, let’s switch to 10 shots groups:
