my new 8 shot 2240 HPA carbine
Yes, you read that right.
I have this cool little 2240 HPA Carbine, I have written about it before. I just got a 8 shot magazine for it, a RIM that I bought from Quickster47.
It took about 10 minutes to install, is made of a aluminum body and some sort of plastic and aluminum magazine. It holds 8 pellets and came with three magazines, two of which are all plastic with the exception of a few small parts.
It is not self indexing, you must pull back the bolt, index the rotor to the next pellet and close the bolt, takes less time to empty than to read that sentence.
And it works. The magazines are easy to reload, and you can load them and pack them in your pocket.

Those are Mosters in the magazine, so I have 8 rounds of 20 FPE.

Next up for this little gun is putting on a 14 inch Disco tube I sent to Ron at B&A this week to have a Boss Disco valve installed for more horse power.
It will be in direct competion with my Talon SS, same power, lighter an did I mention it is a manual repeater?

RC, what size rings are those holding the flashlight? Is it taped to your tube/barrel or is it attached to a rail??? I may have something you could use depending on the size of the light…

Yes I do like these little pistol carbines, and I am getting ready to build another from spare parts.
After I put the Disco tube/Boss valve I have coming on this one, I will have the following parts left:
A Polished 2240 frame
Crosman steel breech
2240 tube with modded valve and Hipac conversion
14 inch barrel that Hoot is sending me
flow thru bolt that Hoot is sending me.
I will need a hammer and spring and power adjuster, but I may need them for the Disco conversion, maybe that will be reason enough to visit Daren in Salem Oregon and then I am at it again. I may buy another RIM, but I don’t really want to have a lot of money in the second one, they don’t seem to have a lot of resale value.
It is handy having a Shoebox and a little Pygmee tank to go with this, it encourages you to buy more PCP’s, who really would want a springer, or a CO2, when you have free air?
As far as the sex and fine vodka go and shooting the deck railing, the last time I was playing with airguns, It was a Crosman 101 and a 150, I was 12 and jerking off, so I have come a long way, no pun intended 😆

I sense you really love that carbine of yours. That is good. They are really great guns. So much fun to build, work on, and shoot. I still kept a few of mine…didn’t sell them all.
We have an animal in our neighborhood terrorizing the garbage cans. This Saturday he hit four cans on our block. Mine was splayed out all over my lawn 😡 I might have to load up a 7 ring for a 100 fpe right behind the ear.

I think he read it from a standpoint of not wanting to hurt my feelings, and of course fell into my little verbal trap, only problem it embarassed me more than him.
Packrat is a prince of a guy and altho I have no walks in the moonlight or showers planned with him, I do not want to offend him or you with terse exchanges about your gawd awful tastes and what the two of you do to the lines of these svelte little carbines. 😛
Actually with that ugly tank and a rail glued to a Disco tube and valve and a RIM this is a better gun than the TSS.
I do have a midnight walk planned for tonight, or a sitting at least. The Raccoon came back twice last night and woke me up twice from my would be drunken stupor from dancing at the Eagles, unfortunately I only had two Coronas chasing down two Grey Gooses on the rocks, I would have liked more, but had a domestic chore to do once I got home 😎 .

So twice from a sound sex induced sleep, the little masked fucker woke me up going after the bird feeder, I put a perfectly placed kill shot with the Condor 25 into the top railing of my deck at 15 feet, killing the deck instantly, but the raccoon escaped.
Got to love that scope sitting so damn high.
So today I did this to the 2240 and I will be waiting for the little masked fucker in the kitchen, by a open door window without a screen, with a RIM full of JSB Monsters and a light sword.
