My take on the Priest…
Well I just tried to sight this in today and I’m going to be that one in five dentist. First off how anyone can put up with that annoying whistle and it does not go away is beyond me! And there is no way a .177 air gun should break your wrist trying to cock it.Even if this was all I had to complain about sitting next to my Mutants and Cricket I would never grab it over them.
Now for the biggest disappointment, the accuracy. I tried JSB 10 and 13 gr. and AA 8 and 10 gr. I’m getting inch and a half groups locked onto a sled at 30 yards

I’m going to try a different scope and clean the barrel but this is not what I expected. Still there’s the whistle and stiff cocking. Why would I put up with this when I have way better choices.Hell if I shot this outside in Colorado I could call in a bull elk!

There is no adjustment hence trying to use JSB Jumbo 13 gr.

Even if I could improve the accuracy it sounds like an elk call! There’s no way I could want to shoot this over my Mutants and Cricket.Factor in the magazine and stiff cocking I give this a D-.

It looks like it is just running too hot in .177cal. Is yours the 125 bar model? The Vid at the start of this thread shows the .177 with the 125bar reg shooting 10gr H&N Barracudas at over 980fps.. just too fast for that little pellet and CZs twist rate.
I dont understand why this gun has not been made with a HST??? the .177 and .22 clearly needs less hammer spring tension.
The most accurate of the JSB .177 pellet range is the 8.44gr at 900 to 930fps. I would try removing shims from the reg to lower the set pressure first and test the groups again with the 8.44gr JSBs.
If this works you will get better air economy leaving your reg at the 125bar and try to find a lighter hammer spring to drop the velocity. you could get a much lighter/shorter hammer spring which would lighten the cocking too and just fit shim washers behind the spring until you pick it up to the 900fps mark.
Im sure it would be easy enough to thread the end of the spring housing under the butt plate and fit a flush mounting screw for use as a HST.
