Q:

new 9mm beastly build

started this the other day . 1/4 the way done an everythiung seems like it will be good .
27” 9mm barrel , .375” valve opening with two .26 inlet holes an .312” at the pellet end , with .700” open air around it . not sure what pressure i’ll use , but when i find a good spring i’ll figure it out .
had fun making the angled bottle connector , i made the bigger thread on a lathe , then clamped it in a vise with the top angled at about 15 deg’ . then used a bolt hole program set at 90 hole in 360 degrees . then just left the cutter down an advanced to each of the 90 numbers . it worked well after clearing the bulk away first .
hope to finish it soon .

Jez

made bushings, tube cap and breech fit to barrel.

All aired up for tomorrow and with luck will have somewhat to report 🙂

Walter….

yeah looked somewhat similar to a condor but cooler!!! and I like the profession staining job 🙂

what do you like the most … the high quality picture , or the stain up the wall in the back ground .haha

they are 2 of my favorite , the short on is a 9mm , the longer is a .22 .
the .22 id challange most moded condors at 100m . just a crosman barrel in it but its a good one .
my guns are like a tougher version of a condor , . i dont use a breech section , just orings in the hammer, an valve in the gun body .

Nice stuff. I really like these

Jez, I’ll get on with that barrel right away.

Walter…

Just a busy guy! I need one of those “left over” monster pistols! 80-81 would keep the squirrels off my bird feeder! lol

thanks for the complmenets .
here is some other stuff ive built . http://s37.photobucket.com/albums/e68/jezx/

this gun is just a fun build , i hope to use the design to make a inline repeater soon .

voltar get that barrel hooked up 🙂 haha .
id like to see what it does , the 3 i used so far group well .

Did not mean to insult anyone , exact opposite he is what moves the air gun world forward people who will make stuff and experiment! I am chicken, I want to buy something that shoots! Guys like me benefit from guys like him. There are many on this site!

Some people have creative minds! That is truely awesome! The sky is the limit when you have talent like that! You could be the next big bore guru! the others out there seem to be booked for years ahead of time. Once you go through the project once you will probably figure out easier and better ways to do things. Really nice work.

Jezx has been a big bore guru for a long time already!

even rifles his own barrels. He made me a 9mm that I need to get off my butt and use…. oops 🙂 pay for.

indeed nice work Jez!

when its done it will have a top rail that runs 1/4 way out the barrel ,an a wood front grip around the barrel . i dont think it will flex at all with a bipod.
thought of making a fake magazine to hold pellets … still just a thought , but would be cool . i want it to look like a ak47 ish military somthing .

Nice work Jezx. 😀

Had an idea looking at it though…

Can you mount a tube in the reciever block, running underneath the barrel?

It’d give you a place to store ammo… and a place to mount a bipod without creating flex/poi shift issues.
