Q:

New calibers for the Texan

Just looked on the airforce airgun website and talked with then on the phone and she told me they are coming out with .308 and .357 calibers barrels for the Texan just hopefully they are interchangeable like the Condor. Will post new info when they get back to me in a couple weeks. 😀

As I said…it’s interesting that you don’t even know who worked on your rifle…wasn’t Voltar1.

And indeed there are folks who try to rip others off. Found one post where a guy was trying to sell off a mangled Texan claiming it only needing trigger parts…fucking scammers eh? 🙄

Al

The fact is that Voltar1 tried to rip me off. I never expected to pay $192 for taking my gun apart and quoting me afterwards. There are people in these forums that rip off alot of newbies.

I saw the rifle Joe…in person. I know what you did…and what was done to correct it.

I also find it interesting that you don’t even know who worked on your rifle. 🙄

Al

Voltar1 you want to cover up your lies? There were minimum parts to repair compared to what you want to rip me off with.

NOT “just” taking it apart Joe….ATTEMPTING to SALVAGE a $1600 rifle that you MANGLED.

A significant portion of the damage you caused WAS repaired in that time….and would be part of the reason AF charged you what they did.

And WHO payed for that work Joe…did you EVER pay back the distributor who actually payed Kim for his time and efforts?

Al

Voltar1 wanted me to pay him $192 for spending 5 hours taking my Texan apart without telling me the costs. I had him ship back my rifle so I sent it to airforce and they did all repairs for $130 which includes shipping which was $80.

Custom machining on a blank that COSTS a lot more by the time it’s up here…$300 is a fair price….not that you have any idea what FAIR is.

Nice that AF stepped up their game to include the options…will be curious to see what that option actually COSTS when it gets to this side of the border.

Might be wishing you hadn’t burned so many bridges Joe.

Al

Oh sweet I was hoping to get one custom made but Voltaren wanted to charge me $300 for it.
