Q:

New cricket mount

Starting to put some pieces together. Looks like I’m going to have to go the poor mans route and start with this setup and work myself from there. It works very well but would like to have gun in the cab more. I mounted the bottom quick attach you find on the atlas bipod on camera mount. I can quickly detach and attach what ever I like in mere seconds.

Purina doesn’t give the ingredients on the block but there are a lot of different grains and seeds in it. They are about $10 a 20 lb block.

They have a locator page. in Ohio it seems all TSC carries them but dozens of retailers. There should be one close.

Interesting Chadski….

Go to any pet store and get any wild life feed throw it into a bucket and pore molasses over it. put a bag in the bucket first so it is easy to remove and peal the bag off. Be sure to let the the feed dry up for a couple of days before pulling it out of the bucket.

That stinks. I have seen them in 3-4 feed and farm stores. 20# so expensive to ship.

Not around here. I have a Grain elevator 1.5 miles from here that sells feed and such, I’ll check there Monday.

The local farm feed store in town where the turkey picture came from. Being Purina i thought they were common.

I’ve never seen anything like that around here. Where did you get it at? Hell I’d spend $100 bucks to get tons of starlings in. Just to feed them of course.

I want one!!

I have seen nothing attract starlings like these wild game blocks (20 lbs each). They heavily smell of the molasses used to glue them into blocks so I am guessing that is what attracts them. My secret is out. (and complete nutrition 😛 ) Power nuggets 😆

exactly what see you talking about Coda

I think of it more like fishing with bait. $41 to shoot a bunch of starlings. :smilen:

What a guy, feed them then shoot them……..sort of like death row, here’s your last meal.

I had to pick up some wild game food blocks to get the starlings back. 🙄 They seem to love the molasses they glue them together with.

Sweet! I made a couple of 80+ yards last week on the Grackles out back. Boy am I glad to see them back! :8:

Nice one eelect, your barnyard sort of looks like the one where I shoot.

Problem is I only get one or two out of that shelter then they move on. I got 2 starlings right on that tree where my barrel is pointing in picture. 72 yards.
