The new Leyla has the cool factor but it needs a Matador stock for its added length and be renamed labeled the new R4M.

Actually to be perfectly honest I kinda like the new Lelya and Lehisy in these videos.
Magnificent :bow: :bow: :bow: :bow: :bow: Cousing Oak is having his first “Eyes Opening Experience” so don’t take his “reactions” too personally, he is simply just too frustrated but he will overcome this very soon.
My eyes opening experience has taught me to be less compulsive when buying a new and not fully tested product and my money is now some kind of sticky in the wallet.
Once and again, there is no need to own a product to have the right to comment or criticise it as long as you make a honest and based on facts review (obviously this is IMHO).
Now for a while just let’s forget about the FranEdSteins and let’s enjoy shooting with the loyal and magnificent tools we already have, there is plenty of time to buy new ones when the time is right.

Glad to hear that! However I distinctly remember you telling me when you were pissed as fucking hell about this situation that I made the right decision. I for one am not criticizing you this was prior to your valve going south for the winter. I do not think you would have led me to buy this gun had you known this was on the horizon and Ed was going to NOT HANDLE IT! No need for checkers lets just shoot squirrels and have fun! As long as this is not about protecting ED and all about a misunderstanding with me then you are no cheer leader. But Protect Ed not!

Yes greatest gun after HE had it fixed. HE HAD IT FIXED NOT EDGUN! Soze contacting JOHN HAGAN not ED not Tony the Edgun Dealer in the USA SOZE. Sorry SOZE the TRIGGER SUCKS and I can’t wait to replace the Edgun Matador .25 with a gun with a trigger!
I love my R3 .30. It’s the best EDgun I have owned and I have owned them all. The accuracy is amazing. The extreme spread is amazing. The gun hits critters like Thor’s hammer. Now that the gun is fixed it’s perfect. You should have listened to me. It is the best EDgun and like I told you I would get the gun fixed.

John Hagan within a week of hearing about the issues with the 30 caliber Matador had a few valves made that are operational and have fixed the Matador 30 and wait? Edgun still has not come up with a repair because they can not find materials and this is going on since the generation one Matador 30? And wait Ed pumped out a generation 2 with same issues as gen one and then after this ED pumped out another set of new airguns (2016) as well and still there is NO FIX FROM EDGUN? Hemm you think I am stupid? Do you want to PATRONIZE ME?
Hemm I don’t want to have to talk with Ed, or Dmitri or Evgeny or Fredrik or any of the makers of the guns I shoot. I don’t need to chat with the guy at Cricket. My Cricket was a fantastic gun out side the crappy ass mag system. The trigger was amazing it’s accuracy unparalleled you can say what ever you want about the gun and Kalbrigun however they stopped producing Hummers when it had issues but ED he made a second generation? I have no need to chat with airgun manufactures and I don’t want too either. I just want guns that shoot well and have issues that are corrected and are consistent and reliable. I don’t want to have too listens to Eds bull shit I just want a gun that works I was a hair trigger away from ordering a 30 caliber? I listened to my gut and not Soze.
That is very true, it is like a break barrel air rifle, except that it is a pcp so the air will run out….

My opinion is that these guns are prototypes that will be sold to the general public. The Goblin is the most impractical airgun I have ever seen. It is a unique design but sometimes one has to ask why a design is so unique?Is it because the design is genius or because the design is so impractical? Why in the world would someone want to unfold a stock just to load a pellet?
Honestly if you are a serious airgun hunter then I think the R4 is a good option, not much that can go wrong with a singleshot.
I welcome the R4 specially if I compare it to the R3M where the cycling mechanism was just ridiculous and frustrating IMHO.
I would take whatever kind of slingshot over the R3M multishot all day long.
This said, if Ed would be able to make a “Taipan smooth” multishot mechanism then I would certainly welcome a R4M (but only if it would have also a “Taipan smooth” trigger 😀 )
(Just for the records, I’ve never owned a Taipan so I don’t know how smooth the whole package really is but according to what I’ve been told it is the Colt Phyton of the bullpubs).
Concerning the Lelya (all versions), I still consider it a “nice to have gun” but only to complete a collection of some more serious tools.
Certainly all the new designs are not everybody’s cup of tea and personally I think there are much more appealing options out there.

You are right and it is not good to buy a gun for 2K and not as good as you want. .. i understand you …
But Ed is different from other manufacturers. ..if you have issues with your Cricket. .. do you have a chance to talk or chat with the owner of Cricket ?? ( with my best regards to the Cricket owner and i like Cricket…in fact i like all air guns ….) and tell him all that you told to Ed??

This said, vinegar even though made of red grapes will never become red wine :geekn:
When you make red wine at the beginning there is always the risk that instead of having produced red wine you have produced vinegar because at the beginning they look and taste almost the same.
Only time will tell the real nature of the product 😀
