You know, at least Lead-Pecker uses a GIF of his youngest daughter for HIS avatar…any reason why you can’t do the same? Even the one with one leg could still do the “jiggle” for the few seconds needed for a good GIF!!!

Yes but the Swedish Krona, CZK and some other european currencies have plunged almost as much as the Euro. GBP has also had a fall. Should bring down Daystates also.

$2100 x 6.3 = 13230 Swedish Krona in March 2014 (6.3 being the exchange ratio of the two currencies)
$1700 x 8.6 = 14620 Swedish Krona in March 2015 (8.6 being the exchange ratio of the two currencies)
There is no price drop. If anything, the price has been raised by 10%
BTW – there is only one time in the last decade when the US dollar increased so fast in such a short time frame as this is. That was right before the 2008 US stock market crash. I trade a little for fun and profit. Right now I am all fixed guaranteed funds (I made a bunch and cashed out of the game for now – getting too many leading indicators in the wrong direction – rates must rise and Obamanomics has been a disaster not to mention his presidency). 😛 It will keep surging a while longer for now. The impact is global since many countries have borrowed cheap US dollars. As their economies fail and the dollar surges that is when the fun will begin when the debt collection starts. :suprisedn:
The WC costs just a hair over the BC price over here so i think it´s both the Importer plunging the price after exposed for bogus pricing and the SEK (Swedish Crown) versus USD exchanhge rate being higher than in years. The Euro has not much to do with the FX since FX is a Swedish company and we´re not a part of the EU Monetary Union (Euro) in Sweden.
There probably is no price drop by the manufacturer or the importer. The reduction in price is apparently the result of plunging Euro/US$ exchange rate, which was something like 30% in the last year.
Just going to weigh in on this one. For starters, I don’t work for AOA of FX. I bought my Verminator Tactical from AOA as a used gun, and have had very positive experiences with AOA. When my Verminator had cocking problems, they paid shipping both ways and turnaround time was very fast. They answer the phone and are friendly.
My Verminator Tactical is a fantastic little carbine, tack driver accurate, small, and high shot count. It loves JSB 15.9s. It sold me on FX rifles. They don’t take almost every win at Extreme Benchrest every year by accident.
When I saw FX and AOA’s Facebook posts about the Wildcat the other day, I was hooked. I immediately called AOA, talked with Devin, and put down a deposit. I asked him why the price was so low ($1299), and he laughed and replied that FX is trying to sell more guns than the other BP manufacturers. If I were FX, I would do the exact same thing. They make excellent rifles, and if they have the operating capital to turn minimal or no profit on the Wildcat to capture market share, why not? Who benefits? We do.
If the Wildcat is what it appears to be in pictures, $1299 is a fantastic price. I’m looking forward to getting one, mounting a Hawke Sidewinder TAC 30 on it, and either a Harris or Atlas bipod. I will then head out back to my backyard range, set out the dollar store 1″ tall plastic army men from 25 to 75 yards and commence Minisniping in my finest Peter Capstick’s imitation.
