Maybe when the wildcats do get here we will have a new price? This could just be sucker bait, I don’t know.
Note: if anyone is offended by my use of coarse language, and innuendo that is sometimes offensive…please understand that I really don’t care what you think. :butkick:
Now, back to the subject at hand. What was deleted, dropped, changed, left off, or downgraded, to permit the Wildcat to be offered at this low price?
How is it the Bobcat come out at a premium price, while the Wildcat came out at bargain basement prices?
Nothing is free. Why have two very similar guns offered at two very different prices?
What am I missing?
AoA emailed me that the .25 caliber won’t be available until sometime in April. They have no idea of it’s power level at this time. Perhaps it’s a dog???
If it looks too good to be true…it probably isn’t all it’s hyped up to be! Something is missing here…and it probably isn’t Fred lying in bed at nights worrying about
us paying too much for his guns. Something lowered that price…what is it…or what is not there that reduces the cost?

I have to agree with the old man on this one. Why such a price drop. What did FX cut ? AoA is so worried about eastern Europe that they would sell guns at cost just to get back at Steve and WWAG? For me neither scenario is a positive sign. That letter Fred wrote was way out of line. I don’t care about politics between AoA and WWAG but FX should have said nothing and just built guns. You guys can put your money where ever make you happy. I’ll read your reviews and watch YouTube videos about it but neither Frederick nor AoA will ever see one red cent from this sucker ever again. Now if my Damn Lelya would just come I can stop talking about these half-ass wannabe bullpups and start shooting the coolest bullpups ever conceived
I don’t know shit, but ya’ll already knew that.
What I think has happened is not that Frederick lowered the price of the Wildcat- it’s AOA selling it here in the US, and AOA who has set that price. Take into account all the talk/gossip/bitching that’s been publicly going on for months now about AOA inflating exclusive brand prices such as FX.. Maybe they’re finally backing off the throttle? Or maybe they’ll win back some customers with this rouse of cheaper prices only to have us spread cheeks and accept further ramming later on..

I’m tellin ya.. We have a new Reefer here.. I can’t be the only one thinking this.
And don’t let AOA rope any of us back in with these “good prices.” They aren’t doing us any favors.. From what I hear from the guys overseas, FX guns should be priced at what the “deal” price is anyway.
I think this is the BP I’ve been waiting for! However, when i made the call to AoA to put a deposit down, I found out that it does NOT have adjustable power. Bummer as I love this feature on my Royale.
The Royale didn’t have adjustable power when it first came out, so I bet they’ll add this in a year or so.
Does it Ping also?
thanks for your assessment.
Dave
Does better ? Well – it has far better finish on every detail. That doesn´t make it any better in everyday use though. It´s like a refined Cricket – a Cricket without its rough edges , and the forward cocking. It doesn´t obsolete the Cricket, by any means. It brings the evolution a step forward.
So besides the obvious forward cocking lever what does the Vulcan do better than the Cricket or HB. Also does it have the same loud ping when firing that the Cricket has?
Regards
Dave
If I buy a wildcat maybe we could be butt buddies 🙂
I don’t work for FX, AOA, DayState or any other airgun related company and never have nor do I have any vested interest in anything to do with airguns or firearms. I’m just an airgun enthusiast and love the hobby/sport, that’s all. Actually, I only got into the hobby last year as I have been on long term disability since Dec 2012 and needed to find something to do with all of the free time. Prior to that, I was an IT program manager working in the healthcare industry.

O.K. That figures then. I thought you were a spy, troll – or even worse : an AOA employed agent trying to sell, sell,SELL.
I have to hand it to Fredrik though : He has listened to the market and made changes after the public demand and those changes look good – at least on a paper. We´ll see how it performs when it comes out from its closet. Untill that : A Beluga is a Beluga.
Earlier today i have been shooting a new Bup that probably will be “The Bup” all the other Bups will be measured agains so The WilCat has even tougher task on it now.
Finally a great looking Black stocked Pup,….a winner in my books.
best in class I’ve seen so far,….the BullPup war is ON !!!
At least a blind fan. Lets see there was one BP manufacturer two years ago and now there are 8+? Anything not blowing the BP market away in some feature at this point has little chance. FX has to pull itself out of the pit at this point in the US market with AOA and the Beluga. How much clearer can it be? They may do fine somewhere else.
You are kidding right? Seriously. This is the first day anyone has seen the gun and you are nit picking on the fit of the stock without even having held the gun or seen it in person. It is evident FX was listening to the masses and made a smaller, ligher, and less expensive bullpup in response.
For $1299, you want a Minnelli stock? Why stop there? Heck you should add gold plated trigger, titanium cocking lever and breech block, 10 free magazines, and a chocolate shake while you are at it.
I`m pretty sure you work for FX or AOA or to their associates. Am i right ?

Will AoA take a trade in? Think I’ll wait to see how the new Cat does before making any decisions….. :geekn:
