New JDSairman regulator results
Here are some new reults after rearranging the washers thinking
I was only reducing the output psi by 100…Looks more like it is
around 18-1900.
PW7/7 JSB 15.9 for all strings 3,000psi fill
Condor 24″ barrrel with heavy hammer….

Mam, could you post pictures, or maybe a drawing, of how the components relate to each other? The bottle and it’s valve > regulator > Co2 adapter > rifle. What gets struck open by the hammer? How does the whole setup function?

I might take you up on that GTBJ…In my mind there is no sense
in sending the adapters back to AF only to have it replaced with the same thing.
I have gone through at least 4 adapters so far….I have to
figure out something else other than using AF inerds….tagdagger
(The Condor arrow shooting guy) is going to open one of mine up
and see what is going wrong inside….I am also planning to replace
the valve on one with a Blodnob from Brad..Lots in the works…
Hopefully I will end up with something worth while.
hay mam crack in, if you want to send me one of your broken down adaptors I’m sure I could figure out what’s going on with them for you, I’d be happy to do it just to be able to fiddle with one and see what the deal with them is.
also what’s going on with airforce, are they not standing behind them?
I for one do not have the necessary skills so I will patiently wait for you guys to hammer things out. When you do, please post results, especially if someone creates a better, stronger, more reliable Co2 adapter, I sure would buy one. Thanks.

Ok….Let me warn everyone that making these regs work on our
guns takes a little work….You do have to buy a tank, regulator, and
AF co2 adapter..The length of this tank with regulator and AF adapter
is almost identical to the AF tanks..
I have had these regulators apart quite a few
times tinkering with them to get these results…I think the regulators
are good but as I have seen in the past, another AF co2 adapter
has taken a crap on me today so, I am out of the reg business until my
other co2 adapter gets back….It just seems that the AF co2 adapter isn’t
holding up…I am working on getting that straight as we speak but
it will take some time to get everything tuned just right…..If it ever happens…lol 😆
If you are thinking about regulating I think you should wait until I get all of this
ironed out before you spend any money or time unless you are like
me and just can’t wait….
How is the Co2 adaptor crapping out? Not strong enough? Is it possible to make something better with a lathe and mill?
I think it is just the valve spring but I can’t take it apart yet to see
what’s going on….

The CO2 adapter threads into the rifle and holds the Airforce valve.
The CO2 tank or regulator with pin valve threads into the CO2 adapter.
The JDS or other air tank is last in the train.
