just another idea
wondering if anyone has made a modified side plate, on the cocking lever side, opposite to letters VULCAN.
I think it would be better if the cocking lever had thinner stem and the upside down U had shorter arms so to say.
I just feel like too much work to cock and cycle the action as it is.

I have replaced the fat spring with a thinner wired one soooo the bolt forward action is much better!
was horrible I can tell you now.
was a bit difficult to get to it though. the top rail had to come off and the front clamp pulled towards the gauge along the air tube to clear the barrel.
was worth doing!

bolt latch to rear enables inserting the magazine. Were you just planning a forward latch ❓
Maybe you could make rear latch upwards ❓
the bolt must go forward and down, will fit a different weaker spring on the barrel, if this customization work, will report back

You can’t go too far inwards. Just screw it forward half acturn at a time untill you can’t cock it. Then back up 1/2 turn.
is the colibri forward action only, I like it much more then.
sorry guys I am just spoiled by the HW100 sidelever. that one is also not ideal, you cock the gun/compress the hammer spring by pushing the lever forward. so must be decocked if you don’t want the lever to be 90degrees out.
I am just lazy to push it forward and down I think mine is still too stiff on the forward movement. I noticed that quite a few threads are visible on the cocking rod/link on the side where it is going into the plastic tube with the cocking knob. wondering if it needs even more extending. maybe the pellet probe is just going too deep in or something.
have you got a picture showing a should be/correct connection between the link/rod and the plastic slider?

Of course the bolt needs to be locked down in its firing position – or very least hold forwards if not locked down before firing :rofl:
The rearward locking isn´t , of course , needed when you cock the gun – just pull the handle all the way back so the gun cocks. The rearward locking is there to aid the mag change.

No Donny I didn’t have my hand on it, actually surprised me when I fired. Took a close look afterwards and realized that the bolt, while forward was not locked down.
Maybe a hydraulic bolt throw is in order…….wouldn’t add to much weight.

So how about attaching a spring to pull the Cocking Bolt forward with enough pressure to hold the breech closed when fired.
Did you keep your hand on the cocking handle while shooting to prevent blowback?
