New talonSS owner
Going to be shooting in a neighborhood. I have a fence so that helps with the sound. I’ve been shooting a break barrel for awhile with no problems and many dead black birds ;). My question is 6″ shroud or Hammer mod first? It has a few mods as I bought the talondor in the FS forum but had him put it back as a talonSS with a few mods already. .22 also.

Where can I get that slip on tank cover/buttstock
Switched it over to a condor setup and have taken a few starlings at 140 yards verified with my range finder. This gun doesn’t disappoint.
Nice shooting on the black birds and I hope you men starlings as they are an invasive species to North America. I have killed lots of starlings with my Ruger MK III 22/45 and my Brock Concept in .22. The Talon SS is setup for FT, but that changes tomorrow as I got a great .177, 24″ barrel done by Tony @ Talon tunes! It is also threaded 1/2 × 20tpi so suppressor ready for those bast are starlings who run off my songbirds from the four feeders I put out daily! I also bought a Talon tunes adjustable Tohatsu, so that ought to help with tuning!
Condor version with 14″ shroud. Took a couple more blackbirds at 80 yards today. Damn this airgun is fun. My neighbor took some shots with it today also. He loves it lol
Pumped the gun up 4 different times today. Def getting a work out and a lot of lead down range lol

5/5 before leaving to head to the office. The birds no longer have a chance. This gun is deadly lol
2 shots two kills this morning. Considerably more feathers with this gun compared to my nitro .177 lol
how far should the top hat be out or in for that matter? It was setup as a condor but had him send it to me as an SS. So he told me I might need to adj the top hat out. I have the washers coming to try and regulate it some. But any info would be great.

Gun came in. Put my 4×16/50 on it. Has a laser also but didn’t put that on yet. Put about 20 shots down range from 25 yards and quickly got the scope decent. I turned power wheel to 9 after shooting it at 2 a couple times. Wasn’t sure if even fired the first time it was so quiet lol. I have the TT tank cover coming and also the plastic spacers. Tanks filled to 3000 psi and down to 2900 after shooting. Its so quiet though compared to my nitro piston the gun just seems its slow lol.. Might have to grab a chrony sometime. If I do does anyone have a link to a decent one on the cheaper side as I wont use it much i’m sure.
Sounds good. I will check into the 9″. Planned on starting at 0-2 as I have some plastic washers coming to try and regulate it to get more shots since I’m using a hand pump. The Condor barrel is coming with it and a 14″ shroud. Looking foreword to playing around with this gun.
