New talonSS owner
Going to be shooting in a neighborhood. I have a fence so that helps with the sound. I’ve been shooting a break barrel for awhile with no problems and many dead black birds ;). My question is 6″ shroud or Hammer mod first? It has a few mods as I bought the talondor in the FS forum but had him put it back as a talonSS with a few mods already. .22 also.

If you can shoot a magnum springer with no problem you should be fine. Just do not use ultra light ammo with the power wheel maxed out 😉
So you don’t feel either the shroud or hammer mod is needed to quiet it up? Thanks
My talon SS is quieter then my RWS 48. I run the talon SS on 6 on the power wheel.

Hey Blacktalon6 , First set your power wheel at 2 and shoot and see how that works . You can to 3 and then 4 . Forget the 6 inch
LDC and go for the 9 inch LDC that Tony makes . I had his 9″ LDC set up when my Talon SS was .22 and it works great , now that I
have my Talon SS set up in .25 the 9″ LDC still works great . :8: :8: :8:
